    plexi windshield / fairing

    Factory windshield was worn out, plexi took an hour and a half to install, directions were a little sketchy. Now air goes over my head and I'm so much warmer in winter, hands are covered and bike stays cleaner. No more wasps caught in the helmet!

    spitfire windshield

    Took a lot of effort to get it on. Couldn't get screen tight. Shook all over the place when installed. Took it off and threw it away.

    Hells Yes!

    I can't imagine going with a windshield lower than 12". Wind slips right up over my helmet at 50-60 mph and at 70 mph starts hitting my helmet. Around 80 mph I have to duck a little to keep all wind off my helmet but I don't like slouching like that and the little bit of wind doesn't bother me. If I sit up straight I easily look over the shield. For reference, I'm 6' 0" on a 2008 Yamaha V-Star 1300.

    Awesome Addition

    Keeps that last little bit of wind off your arms while at high speeds. Also looks freaking awesome and, I feel, completes the look of the batwing fairing. Just do it, one of the few accessories that is affordable!

    Don't go cheap, get this kit!!

    I initially wasn't going to get this cause I thought I'd never take off the batwing but I'm so glad I did because I've taken it off a dozen times at least for various reasons. Only 4 stars on fit because just before the fairing mates with this bracket there is some rubbing against my fork. After it locks on the clearance is fine, just that last 1/2" or so before it locks on. Just do it!!!
