Quality is great. If you want to put cover on using the strings to keep it in place, good luck doing it by yourself. Once you think you have the one side in place the other side pops off.
Otherwise, other option is to remove old cover and staple new one on, unfortunately you need a heavy duty stapler, a normal staple gun will not be strong enough to go through the material.
Now I need to buy a heavy duty stape gun to put the cover on correctly.
I've had this seat for awhile now and put in a couple of long days on it. My longest ride so far has been 320 miles and the seat performs just like it's supposed to. All that padding makes for a very comfortable ride!
This is the best seat I have owned. I bought pre owned one from a Custom Cycle shop here in Alaska for my Santee Custom cycle, which my son owns now. I bought a 2002 night train in Colorado recently and looked for a Mustang seat until I found one. It's shaped well and though firm, is still the most comfortable saddle of my two bikes.
