16 toofs da bomb

I put this 16 tooth counter sprocket on my KLR650 because I was planning a long weekend trip with a lot of highway pavement. I was always struggling to keep up with my 1200GS buddies and felt the KLR was really working hard at 70mph. With the 16T it was much more relaxed at 70 down the slab and even felt like it wasn't struggling at 75 or 80 on the highway. I didn't miss the torque on the dirt roads we were riding at all and don't plan to change back to the stock gearing unless I'm planning a lot of trail miles on steep terrain (not likely with the KLR). Great change to the stock KLR setup and I got great services and quick delivery from Motorcycle Superstore!

sprocket

1 tooth doesn't sound like much but it really made a noticeable difference in rpm's at 70mph. Alot more fun on the highway. Highly recommended

Great Addition

Bought this for my KLR650. Best upgrade I could have done. Bike is geared way better for the highway now. I can cruise at 65mph at around 4300 rpm.

06 Kawasaki KLR 650

Honestly the tools I had to buy cost more than this part. The difference it made in the bike is phenomenal. I don't get better mileage with it because frankly I'm having to much fun. The bike now sits in it's happy place at 3.5k while in various traffic situations. Giving me power whenever I desire it. I also have a lot more fun off-road with it. Again happy place and also I don't like technical riding I like going fast.

16 tooth

It's a dang sprocket. How good can it be reviewed in a month? LOL. Seriously though, it's a very noticeable and welcomed improvement over the stock 15 tooth sprocket. I don't know about the wear yet as I've only put a few hundred miles on it.

16T the way to go for KLR

This sprocket dropped 500 rpm @ 70 mph. The bike feels right.

Great Value

I have run with a 16 tooth on my KLR650 for sometime now and love the added gas mileage. Although it does seem to chugg at lower speeds(55) in 5th. I eat chains and sprockets so the value is great.
