Exactly what the doctor ordered!

Like most guys, I didn't want to use an adapter. The very thought went against my grain. I have a vintage BMW that has 8mm threads and I didn't want to pay $50 per mirror ... after two days of searching for the right mirror, I realized adapters were the way to go. I searched online for those two days trying to find adapters that I felt confident that would not look cheap, or too big. I landed on these, and Motorcycle Superstore was the ONLY place online I could find both this adapter AND the mirrors I wanted. If you have a vintage BMW R model, make sure you look at your left controller to see if you have a clear opening around the mounting hole. Mine did not, so I took a bench grinder to shape one quarter of the main body of the adapter so it would fit. I then sprayed with Rustoleum primer/paint satin black, which I had already, and you can't tell. In fact, I was lucky to shape it well enough, and just where I needed it, that you can't see that I did that. Just know that at least for this era BMW, you will have to do that with adapter on the LEFT side.

EMGO FZ1 Replacement Mirrors

Excellent at what they do, some slight distortion in one corner of the mirror but for the price excellent. I fitted them to my FJR and realize I should have done it years ago.

Good mirrors easy install

Installed these mirrors and mirror mounts on an FE650 Husaberg.easy installation, mirrors are long and sit pretty high, but they were great for this bike as the guy that rides it is real tall and heavy so he can see with them good.
