Great pants for fit but zippers and velcro closings don't last

Bought these pants about 2 years ago. Looking to buy again as there are very few hi-viz pants in the marketplace. They fit well but almost from the beginning the velcro ankle closures wouldn't grip. Over the past year the zippers have become increasingly a challenge to the point that as I look at riding this fall i have to replace the pants (the zippers no longer work below the knee). Wish I could get more durable hi-viz pants.

Great product, did not fit.

I am 6'0 and 180 pounds. Waist is normally 34-36 depending on product. I bought the large 34-36. Length was good, with liner in legs had plenty of room and so did the seat. However, the waist was very tight, not useable. I will return for the extra large and see if that works. I really like the pants, hope the new size is better.

I read a lot of reviews and went with what a few suggested and ordered a size bigger. They go on very easy with the full leg zippers. They are very comfortable both on and off the bike. The only thing I wish they had is a belt across the front snaps. They do have velcro straps on both side that allow to tighten to a snug fit but a few times getting on and off the bike the snaps came undone. Great fit and a great value.

comfortable pant

Good fit. I was disappointed to see that one of the bands that holds the pant leg down was broken and not sewn down.

Excellent

The best pants I have. Fit, comfort, and style are all good. The pants are great. My only complaint is trying to find the Venture jacket that should go with it.

Good Ride

I normally wear leathers this time of year but after using this riding gear I will not go back to my old leather gear. Wisdom comes with age! I bought the size I normally use but had to return for the next larger size.

Crotch Leaks

On a particularly rainy ride, water leaked through the elastication in the crotch, making me look like I pissed my pants. There was also water penetration down the outer side of the pant legs. This has happened more than once. On the good side, they are warm and seem like they would protect well in a crash.

Fit was spot on. Warm. Don't know about rain yet. Great pant for the money. Good quality. Great company. Treated me very well with returns. Forget the competition no one touches this company.

great pants-zipper died

I really like the pants as they are hi-viz yellow. The zipper blew out during the summer and I had to have it repaired. It just blew again and this time I will have it replaced with one that is similar to the jackets main zipper.

Fit well, zipper died.

After less than a full season of wearing these daily the zipper broke. Motorcycle Superstore doesn't have the hi-viz version of these anymore. They were good while they lasted but I really would have liked them to last a bit longer.

Not Waterproof!!!

Although they are great in cold weather, I've ridden with them in the rain several times and have gotten completely soaked wearing them. I like the padding and the reflective piping for added safety. I added more velcro to seal the bottom of the legs a little better below the ankle. That tighter seal prevents cold air from entering at the boot making all the difference in the world when trying to keep warm. This could perhaps be a revised feature in a future version.

So far so good!

I've only had them for two months but so far I like that I can get them over my boots, the good ventilation through side zips, the good armor on hips and knees, and the tough feel of the fabric… Feels a lot sturdier than denim.

Good pants... don't know about zipper area

Seems that the zipper will break because there isn’t enough holding... Possibly better if they had an extra flap with snaps. Other than that they seem to look and fit snug. Will know more next spring during riding season.

Very poor zippers and unwearable in summer

The side leg zippers are very poor quality and have failed on my pants after a year. Also the nylon lining will cook you in the summer, it should be removable but it’s not. In anything over 80 you will be sweating. Would not recommend.

tourmaste venture pant

Very warm down to around 15 degree f but 15 min in heavy rain your crotch is wet within an hour - I was soaked down to my knees. Do not buy if for rain but great for cold.
