Wears uneven

I put a set of these on the front and back of my V Star 1100. The compounds are not balanced and the sides wore out faster than the center on the front and was uneven through the tread pattern. The back was the opposite with the center wearing quicker than the sides. The back I'm taking off before it's time. The tread pattern has worn in a high and low on the sides and it has broke traction in turns. They were properly inflated, the bike has no wobbles and a stock rake. Spend a couple extra bucks and stay away from these. I just bought a set of Metzler triple 8's for my bike (see the Motorcycle Superstore video:) and I'm very pleased with MS service and timely delivery.

I like the looks of this tire. Rolls in and out of curves great! But lost traction pretty easy in wet conditions. Tread seems to be wearing fine.

Kenda Tire

Have only put about 500 miles on new rear tire so gave it a 3, so far it seems to be just as good as the Dunlop that it replaced, was not happy with the 8700 miles I got out of it! If I don't get any more mileage I won't complain though since this tire cost $80.00 and the other cost $139.00. So far it's doing a great job and seems to be a lot of tire for the money!

Challenger Rear Tire

I do like this tire as far as the look and the dry ride. I would like a better design for the cornering and wet ride. I think it is a little loose when you run into wet weather. I also don't feel as comfortable in the corners with this tire.

Great tire for the money

I'm on my 2nd set. I put the first set on 3 years ago. I got about 2 years or 10,000 miles out of the rear. And 3 years or about 15,000 out of the front. They handle much better than the Dunlop's that came stock on my Rebel and don't have the sharp angle on the sidewall that the stock tires had. I'm sure that there are better tires out there but not for the money.

some good some bad

Put these on my v-star at about 48000 miles. Until then I had used Dunlop 404s, mounted easily and balanced up okay. The tire is way noisy then the cupping started after about 8000 miles. The tread design has a flaw and offers very little support in one area and it cupped all the way around at about 14000 miles. I will be replacing it with something different, probably go back to the 404 as I was getting about 20000 out of those.
