I am loving these pants. They keep me pretty warm on the cool NC mornings; most of the time if it is over 32 degrees I ride my bike to work. Havent used these in the rain yet but I have high hopes for the pants.
Got these to replace some leather up pants that I wore out in less than 10,000 miles. Fit is a little big, but my butt is getting bigger too. It appears to be well made and has the features I was looking for. I like the adjustable pads on the hips and knees.
They fit great over my jeans and all zippers are heavy duty. The legs are baggy but air is a good insulator so I wouldn't want them to be snug for cold weather riding. I wear 34 x 34 jeans so I bought 36 tall. They are long when standing but perfect in the riding position.
In my opinion, they are exactly as advertised. Fit, finish, durability, features, and cost benefit, plus warmth and protection.
I guess the pants are ok for the price, but 2 inches short when riding on sport-tour bike. The plastic knee protectors are not so flexible and start to push on your kneecaps to where you have to constantly shift them to save your knees after 150+ miles. Will not buy the pants again. The jacket is excellent.
An excellent pant for riding
I bought these because my first, and many years old, pair of HT Pants wore out. The new version had many pleasant improvements notably easy to access pockets. Only one ride so far in the new pair but in 40 degree weather I was toasty and improved liner and liner fastening had my legs warm with no draft up my leg. These pants do order to size in my experience.
