Good investment

Installation was super easy, most of the bolts lined up properly. (Pro-tip, thread in each bolt by hand for 4 or 5 rotations. This allows the plate to move around and get the bolts in straight before tightening). Took the bike out the next day and my wife used that skid plate. It works as advertised and offers better protection than most skid plates out there for the XT250. Metal > plastic.

Great product

Great product, exceptional quality for the price, installation was as simple as a few bolts.. Highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to replace the stock guard with something that will provide significantly more protection.

Good Investment!!

Installed one of these, and I heard it "working" while following my son in some rocks on its maiden voyage. So glad I purchased and installed it as I might be looking for a new case altogether right now. I took the foam that came with the plate, cut it into 3/4" strips lengthwise, and used grip glue to affix the strips to the outside edges of the plate to keep any potential vibrations between the frame and the plate silent. I also cut a small piece for the very back end. It must be working as I don't hear any vibrations at all. I also used Blue thread lock to keep the screws in place -- also working very well. Overall, well worth the investment, and installation was very simple. I definitely recommend these to all dirt digger riders -- especially if you ride on/around any rocks! Thanks.
