Tru Gel Battery
Before I bought this battery I researched a lot of other batteries and I'm glad I did. The tru-Gel is the best I have ever owned for my 1991 Harley Davidson Fxlr. I absolutely love it, great start ups, long lasting Battery life, and a great price. I will definitely shop again at Motorcycle Superstore.
Second Ballistic Evo2 Battery for another motorcycle
I was very skeptical about purchasing my first Ballistic EVO2 battery but after 3 years, it is still going strong. I sold that bike and purchased another sportbike and slid in a brand new Ballistic Evo2 battery for the tired, heavy and outdated lead acid battery.
Original factory battery was a Yuasa. I replaced it a year ago (exactly) with a much less expensive but fully rated battery. Bike is always on a battery float charger (13.6 V). The cheap battery died in 1 year. It's a pain to install so I decided to pay the bucks and get one that will last a while. Set up was easy BUT there were no instructions on the initial charging. I hope I guessed right! I'm marking down installation by a star because of the lack of these instructions.
Going strong after 8 years in my 2006 Suzuki Vstrom 1000.
CMX250 Rebel... So far, so good...
Bought the YTX7L-BS for the Honda CMX250 Rebel. Fit perfectly. Bike (much to its own credit) fired up on the first shot.
Filling the battery with the included acid was easy, though punching a tiny hole in the bottles helped facilitate the flow of acid. Breaks the pressure, ya see.
Instructions say to charge it at 0.5 amps. My trickle charger does 1.5 so I took a chance. Still took 5 hours like the instructions say it would at 0.5A.
This battery is great. Very light and still powerful, GSXR 2k6 750, starts right up every time, and with the problems of the charging system on the bike I was hoping this would help and I needed a new battery anyway. All and all great buy so far.
