2013 KLR650

This YTX14AHL-BS does not fit the 2013 KLR650. It is a little too tall and the bracket that holds the battery in will not fit in it's groove. It also pinches the air box vent hose which runs over the plus and minus terminals which are too high. Other than that, it was easy to set up, and I've always had great performance from Yuasa batteries.

No Problemo...

I've been using this battery in my 2004 Kawasaki 1600 Vulcan Classic since first replacing the original/factory battery. Never had a problem and always outlasts the lifetime expectancy...even though I don't charge it in the off-season when I may not ride for 3-4 weeks.

8 Months...

Battery failed after only 8 months. Put this in my tw200 because I was told it's more reliable than a wet battery. Heard a pop and the bike wouldn't start. If I wacky it with a hammer it'll start. Going back to the oem wetc battery.

Bikemaster Lithium Ion battery

This is a great battery. It is very light and cranks the bike better than the original. It has sat out in the 'cold' (face it, I am in SoCal - but it was about 45F last night!) overnight and no problem cranking the bike. The fit in my battery case is a bit tight on the short dimension, more like a tight friction fit into the battery case. I had no issues with the cable terminals installing onto the battery with the included screws and nuts. You cannot get 5+ pounds of weight reduction for this price anywhere else on the bike.
