i had the wiesco bottom end in my bike 2000cr125 and it locked up and broke a rod worst crank, i wouldnt go with hotrod either it does the same. each weight on the crank is 30 thousandths bigger on each side then oem crank and it could possibly grind so ive been told. i would not recommend this crank. i hoped this helped out

It was a little hard to start it going in the right angle because the magnet kept moving it out of alignment. I had to put a socket on it to keep it straight while threading it in! 14 mm wrench versus the original 17 mm size to tighten it down. The smaller size does allow me to use a close end wrench vs the larger original size I could only use a Socket wrench. The gasket / washer is not the copper type it is stainless steel, not like the picture .

Good kit for my RM 250 1993 project/rebuild. The team at Motorcycle Superstore were extremely helpful!

Rebuilt my 2007 kx85 with the hot rods complete bottom and rebuild kit, so far no problem whatsoever. Really satisfied with it.

Went in okay. One of the top o-rings was a pain in the ass, but it seemed to work out in the end. It recomended drilling a hole, but my old piston didn't have one, so I didn't feel like drilling my brand new piston.

Works great- just right for the YZ250 for woods riding.
