Great Pants

These are great pants. I have had these for a couple of months now and they are warm, comfortable and easy to get in and out of. The zippers on the legs make it very easy to get in/out with First Gear riding boots on. I have been in the rain a few times with them and not a bit of water on the inside. I ride a Versys 650 so I have no fairing to block anything. I've road in 34 degree temps with a layer of thermals and jeans and never once got cold. The only thing that could be better is the velcro at the bottom of the legs could be bigger/longer. Also if you don't like velcro these are not the pants for you.

Pretty Good..NOT WaterProof

I LOVE these pants for winter riding...fit is awesome and very comfy, and they do keep me warm. However...they ONLY Water Resistant and NOT Waterproof. Even on a Goldwing, which sheds most of the rain off of you....your butt and legs will get wet. Otherwise...an awesome pair of pants!

Used them on the COBDR!

Bought these pants to use on the Colorado Back Country Discovery Route. THEY WORKED PERFECTLY!!! Kept me warm on the 30 degree mornings; the double zipper on the legs allowed for cooling in hotter climates. We spent the last 2 hours of the trip in a rather heavy downpour, the pants kept me dry. Sizing chart is right on. I am, shall say, "Pear Shapped" a bit. Could have used Suspenders for the pants, BUT a bungie cord did the trick! I didn't need the liner for the trip, though I did have it with me. I was concerned the pants would be too hot in higher temps, but the ability to unzip the top of the pants allowed for sufficient cooling. Highly recommend them.

Great pants, great price, velcro closure at the bottom of the leg is too thin and could be positioned better for easier reach.

NOT WATERPROOF!! Water resistant only

I bought these pants for a 3,000+ mile winter trip around the southwest. I'm a big believer of getting what you pay for so I was very suspicious about the low cost of these pants. They soaked through on three different days of the trip after only 15 minutes. I sorely wish I spent the extra money. Also, after a few bathroom stops, instead of the Velcro separating as it should, the stitching of the fly pulled out.

Nice Pants

These are some very nice riding pants for the money. I followed the sizing chart and they pretty much were spot on except for the length. Been for a couple of rides with no liner at about 34 degrees and felt pretty comfortable. Would buy again. Superstore was as always quick for shipment and delivery even thru the APO system, Great job.

Tour Master Caliber Pants are Warm and Dry and Fit Great

I live here in Colorado and my commute is a little over 20 miles one way. The Caliber Pants fit great over my dress pants, and are easy to get on and off, even along the side of the road. The Caliber Pants are watertight and warm even without the liner. I have used these pants without the liner low 30° weather and they're still plenty warm, the liner makes it nice and toasty. I'd like to thank the Motorcycle Superstore for the awesome customer service. Your exchange/return policy is truly hassle free.

Excellent All Weather Pants

Provides protection against rain, wind, heat, and cold. The padding on the hip and sides provide decent protection. Although the pants are black, there is sufficient circulation of air to keep you cool in hot weather. 5/5

True fit

Actually the fit was snug but very acceptable. Side velcro adjustability is a BIG plus feature. I a m 5'9" and ordered "short" but should have ordered regular. Reason being I ride a sport bike and they ride up a bit leaving some leg exposed if I'm not wearing my riding boots. By the way 5'9", 236 pounds, ordered a 2XL, short and overall the fit is excellent. Protection is excellent, and cold weather protection is....good to very good! No rain tests yet :-) Exceptional speed and service.

Function over form

Overall very pleased with the purchase of these pants. The pants are exceptionally warm. Made a 180 mile round trip in the low thirties (jeans and long johns without liners). I am 6' tall 217 lbs and ordered the XL regular length that fit me well. Pants can be put on without taking off boots. Not very form fitting but got room where you need it and can easily wear jeans under them. Have not had the opportunity to verify how waterproof they are yet.

tour Master Caliber pants-- Fantastic.

The fit was almost perfect. I've used them one time so far and am looking forward to using them all summer long in the Pacific Northwest as I complete the Tour of honor sites. One thing I would suggest that Tour Master do is to add a stirrup to the bottom of the legs. I had a local Upholstery shop add heavy duty elastic (From Walmart) to mine. I did this because when I put my feet on the foot pegs the pant legs rode up a little past my boot tops. With the stirrups added the problem went away.

Better than nothing, but not great

I bought these pants along with the Tourmaster 2 jacket. The fit is baggy and they are NOT waterproof, water resistant yes. After a season wearing these they begun to leak in the crotch area. I would not recommend these. Save up some more and buy better gear.

What I think of the paints

The pants are heavy and feel like they will protect you. However I had the zipper in the front blow out on me and one of the straps that tightens around the waist tire. But with the Velcro I really did not need the zipper and I fixed the strap. I like the pants but for the money they really need to put in better zippers. The pants are way too thick for spring and summer wear. But it you like riding in the fall and winter they are great.
