The ease is supreme

It is so easy to put these on and when they are used to throw them away. Shortly after opening the bag I usually massage the filter while still in the bag to ensure the oil is re-distributed a last time, and maybe its overkill but to also ensure its freshly made tacky. I have used them on two KTM 2-strokes and on two Yamaha 4-strokes. I started using them about 7 years ago. It is so easy. I also have not had any problems with dirt or silt getting past which is key to a lasting motor.

Great Filter

I have had K & N filters on previous bikes and found them to be durable with increased air flow when compared to the OEM filters. While the filter fit perfectly, installation was a bit more complicated than I had expected on my 2014 Voyager 1700, but this was due more to the airbox design than the filter itself.

crooked threading

Wouldn't thread on straight. Crooked threading (no, I didn't crossthread it). No more k&n for me.
