Quality filters, low price

I did the research and tried them out now nothing else will go on my Star's. I told a buddy they make filters for his ATV also. Great workmanship. Save the money, go Hiflo!

had some problems

its an amazing filter. i put it on my 1986 kx80 and it woke it right up. but at first it didn't fit. the bolt that screws in to the bracket inside the air box was way too short so we had to make a trip to the store to get a bolt 2 times bigger then the original bolt and after that it fit on just like a glove

It installs e-z, and e-z to get off and clean ... but ...

Everything others have said about the filter is true, but I just noticed an oil drop under my bike in the vicinity of the filter (2012 Road King - doesn't leak). Discovered the filter was at least a full turn loose. I know I installed it tight, but not over tight. I'm wondering if re-using the rubber o-ring could cause it to come loose. I will keep an eye on it. They give you one extra, then they want $5!!

useless on an xr650l when it doesnt come with a basket

This filter is useless on an xr650l because it comes without a basket. There is no way to seal it, and I have not even seen a basket for sale anywhere so I dont know whats up. I just bought a K&N instead. Will be returning this when I get around to it.
