We purchased 2 of these for passenger and rider. We have ridden over 3000 miles and we really love them. We still find that our bottom ends get hot but the distance we ride before we have to stand up or move around is much longer.
Everything that I read about replacing my seats said the same thing, "the seat you get when you buy the bike is only intended to get it off the showroom floor; it is not intended to be a " forever seat ".
Once I change the sea I knew why they all said that and also no matter what bike I buy in the future one of the first things I will do is change out the seat it makes all the difference . Mustang and Corbin are the two best, mustang was the best for my Honda Magna..
There was a few shipping hiccups by ordering through Motorcycle Superstore ( which they happily rectified ) therefore my experience was good and I will order from them again in the future
I bought this seat for my girlfriend because I have the buttcrack solo seat. This seat matches my solo seat and fits it perfectly.
My girlfriend does have chronic pain. We've been on a number of rides and after each ride she complains how hard the seat is. She says it was as if she were riding without a seat. She said that her butt is internally bruised causing her more pain than she already has.
She also said that she does not like the groove going in the middle of her crack.
The seat itself looks to be good and is comfortable, especially for the passenger. However, the design of the seat exposes the tops of the side plate covers just under the rider. In particular the battery and electrics. The factory seat fully covers the tops of these plates to shield from rain. Depending on your bike, I don't know if I would recommend this seat.
