About Triumph Daytona Motorcycles - Triumph introduced the Daytona T595 in 1997. Despite its name, it featured a 955cc in-line three-cylinder engine. In 1999, the Triumph Daytona was renamed 955i, to reflect its engine size. Large scale changes of the Triumph Daytona were made in 2002, including more horsepower, and a double-sided swing arm. In 2002 a limited-production Triumph Daytona CE 955i was offered. 2006 brought about the Triumph Daytona 675 and it became the clear winner of the 2006 Supersport Shootout by Motorcycle USA. {http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/9/631/Motorcycle-Article/2006-Supersport-Shootout-IV-Street-Conclusion.aspx} With its edgy styling, the Triumph Daytona stands out from the sea of Asian imports. Its precise sharp handling, powerful engine, razor sharp chassis and the intangible thing called the “Grin Factor” makes the Triumph Daytona one amazing motorcycle.
