A new set of Pillowtop grips is always my forst purchase when getting a new quad or dirtbike. The light grey color goes well with any color combo, and stays looking clean forever, as the color doesn't fade, and dirt and wear isnt very visible. These grips are comfortable and durable. They are also cheap. Best bang for the buck upgrade.
I have been running this steering Steel for several years paired with the Faust Flex bars. I'm 6'4" and really makes a huge improvement in ability to ride without stopping and reduction in vibration. My first ride I noticed how much vibration they reduced. Longer rides without the fatigue. Strongly recommend to anyone who races or rides hard.
Took me maybe two minutes to install on my crf. worked great and I love it. I put these levers on all of my bikes now. Just make sure you tighten the adjustment screw down or sometimes it travels on its own and sets its own distance. Great product.
The product is simple and seems to be of reasonable quality. It does not come with a mount so make sure you order one with it.
It is a little shorter than I anticipated but it should be secure enough with the elastic.
I bought this holder to hold my Garmin Nuvi 2689 LMT. I just finished a 1,000 mile four day trip through the Smokey Mountains and the X-Grip worked perfectly!
The ball and socket joints allowed me to perfectly position my GPS on the right side of the handlebars of my KLR-650. This keeps the GPS just above the crossbar and below my Neutral indicator light. The mount stayed secure, even when going over rough ground.
I found the X-grip part of the mount did pivot a bit but I had no issues with observing or using the GPS in the mount.
Although I didn't have any issues with my GPS coming out of the mount I recommend you buy the rubber together that they sell just to be sure your expensive GPS/phone doesn't fall out. I used a couple of heavy elastic bands to hold my GPS in the holder but I'll order the optional rubber together because it's robust and will last a lot longer than my thick elastics.
Overall, money well spent!
