Reading previous reviews I decided to have spacers plated prior to installing, which went very easily, not quite as low as I had hoped so I may move the mounting blocks back an inch further but all in all a good clean fit & look.

I own a 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan with saddle bags and travel trunk and my wife rides with me quite a bit. My factory shocks died completely @ 45,000+ miles. They were adjustable air shocks with adjustments for compression damping also. When I checked with the dealer they told me the shocks would cost $1,000 PLUS installation. That seems like a lot of money for shocks that failed with less than 50K on them. So I bought a pair of 412 Heavy duty shocks for about $263.00 and wow what a difference. My old shocks were 12" and I got 13" instead 'cause the bike is heavy and I carry a lot of stuff and I need the extra preload. The shocks work great and stability with a passenger added was excellent. I highly recommend them for heavy loads like mine.

The front fork springs on my Lowrider were sagging and never fully returned when compressed. These springs along with Bel-Ray 20w fork oil returned the proper functioning of my forks. Easy installation. Very complete instructions are included. Took less than an hour to do both legs. Really improved the ride and response of these forks. Highly recommended.
