Product Information

Metzeler Tube

Metzeler tubes are made of natural rubber instead of butyl. Natural rubber enables the tube to be more resistant to punctures, tears and abrasions. The elliptic shape in some of Metzeler's tubes allows them to be used in low section tubeless tires with laced wheels. All valves stems are straight metal TR-4/6 style (8mm diameter straight metal stem) unless otherwise noted.

Good So Far

What can you say about an inner tube? The tubes were the right size, fit my wheels and tires, and... they held air.

Disappointed

Purchased 15 inch inner tube with SIDE Valve. Motorcycle super store sent me 15 inch inner tube with straight, TR4 vale....4 times. Each time the box from the metzeler said TR4 valve, yet someone in the warehouse labeled it as a side valve. 4 times this happened and each time the customer service reps had not clear explanation of how this happened. One customer service manager even said maybe I ordered it wrong or someone packaged it wrong. Poor customer service skills. After the 4th incorrect tube, I lost all faith in Motorcycle Superstore and had to purchase this tube from a competitor who had it to me in two days correctly. Tube is great but I rate it poorly due to Motorcycle Superstores inability to fulfill a simple order.

Good Quality Tube

I run Metzler tires and use only Metzler tubes. Never had an issue with them in 30 years.

Metzeler Tube

Superstore service was top notch, unfortunately Metzeler really dropped the ball. The tube in the properly marked box had the wrong type of valve stem. The same problem was found at two other times too so it's not Superstore's fault.

Hard to find natural rubber tube

These natural rubber tubes are getting harder and harder to find. I prefer these tubes to the butyal ones for their blow out resistance on my F800GS Adventure. One less thing to worry about.

Better than Bridgestone and I like the 90 degree valve stem, although it's rather pricey.

Metzler Tube

Since my bike has a centered-mounted 90 degree bent valve stem, I had a difficult time mounting the tube on the rim, but finally discovered the secret.. Neighbor recommends and uses Metzler tires on his bike, so I associate the brand name with quality.

Great Tube

When I installed the tube there was no doubt that it was the correct fit for the 21" front tire on my Sportster. Mounted easily and works perfectly. Quality appears excellent.

Bit more expensive but worth the couple extra bob

They keep pressure. That's the most important thing, eh? I check my tyre pressure every week, and only need a top-up once every 2 month! Last set required every 2 weeks, which is still not that bad. But 2 months! Even better.

Metzler inner tube

I purchased 2 tires and 2 tubes from Motorcycle Superstore at a great price for all plus received fast shipping but did not install items myself. All I can say is my 2007 Honda Shadow handles great now and I feel safe that my ride will be problem free and fun.

Metzler inner tube

Not for a late model Harley! The stem adapter was round instead of hex like the stem base, and the 90 deg. stem I thought would be handy for the rear tire, but the dealer installing the tire said it would inter fear with the break caliper (might hit). Thank you for a smooth and easy return and promptly credited back to my account. I will shop here again.

Metzler tube

Is a tube a tube is a tube? NO! Had to replace tubes after hitting hard bumps at speed before where-as this tube seems thicker and has the 90 degree stem which is awesome if you are rolling with spokes.
