This is a great helmet. It fits pretty well and looks awesome and my only issue with it was that there was just a little more wind noise than I was expecting ... until I tried to put a Sena headset into it. I've always worn XL Scorpion helmets and this is my 4th I believe. I had no issues putting the Sena speakers into my last helmet, but the location in this helmet and the amount of padding in it make it impossible to get the helmet on with the speakers inside of it. Unless I cut out some of the foam/padding, I can't use my Sena headset and want to return this helmet.

Received my exo 1100 yesterday, very pleased with this helmet in every way. I have been street riding 44 yrs and never had a better fitting helmet. Quality is excellent, bought as a close out and saved. It is a older model but I am very pleased. I have had Arthur fulmers, shoei, arai and I felt they all fit appropriately. But this helmet feels like it is part of me when I ride even at speeds with high wind it steady an very little if any buffering.

Best helments in its price range if you care to put a price on saving your head. (Comfortable)!

Well, I must say, I am very impressed with this helmet. I always like to keep a spare helmet to use when I clean my Shoei. With this helmet I hit the jackpot. Fit is spot on, I replaced the clear visor with a dark smoke one (that was a little pricey but they all are). The biggest difference I feel is the airflow. It is not as abundant as the air I feel while wearing the Shoei helmet but it is decent. As for the cost, appearance, and features, you CAN NOT GO WRONG with this helmet.

I like everything about this helmet except that it doesn't fit. I absolutely cannot wear it for more than 30 minutes as the cheek pads are wayyyy too tight. Several calls to MC Superstore have done nothing for me They cant tell me how or where to buy different cheek pads for it. You would think they would support the products they sell better, but they don't. If you buy this helmet just be sure you're happy with the fit before you use it. If not , return it because there is no way that I am aware of to adjust the fit. Most manufacturers offer a selection of cheek pads to custom fit the helmet. If these are out there I sure can't find them.

I bought a $60 helmet for my gf and as a back up and then my scorpion exo Illuminati helmet came the difference was night and day. The design and appearance is flawless. Functionality and the number of vents on the helmet allows the perfect amount of airflow. As far as fit goes the cheek cushion is slightly a little much and I'd rather it be a little more snug around my forehead and sides. I got a large which works for me so it might just be the shape of my head for the slight preferences of the cushion areas. Visor takes seconds to remove if you are swapping it out. Overall the price is definitely worth it and very comfortable. 2 pieces are removable, the mesh below the chin that slides in underneath and the nose protector piece which easily slides out too. So after a month of use I'm confident to say I'd never get anything different and my gf is looking to buy a scorpion helmet too!
