Ryan State College,  PA An good umbrella at a great price. The $30 - $50 price range for umbrellas can be very iffy. This, however, is about as good as it gets for the price. For a golf size umbrella - remember that these are BIG - it's built fairly well. At 40.5 inches long (3 feet, 4.5 inches,) this is not the compact umbrella you're used to. It's very wide when open, but once you get used to the size you'll love it. The weight is very light, so it is very comfortable to carry. The hard foam handle is the biggest let down, almost giving it a cheap feel. It is a single canopy, not the wind-resistant, dual canopies of more expensive umbrellas. On the other hand, it feels more than stable enough to handle strong winds. As everyone else has said, both the size and pattern on the umbrella work hard to make you stand out. It looks great in person, and great while being used. I've never seen a traditional umbrella that actually turns heads until I used this. The bottom line is that you are getting your money's worth with this umbrella. It looks great and performs adequately, with a relatively small price tag.
