    River Road double zipper boots

These boots look great but they are horrible fitting. I cant seem to lace them tight enough so my feet feel snug. I would never buy these again!

    Great Boots

Got these boots a week ago and have been in them for about 11 hours since. They were comfortable straight out of the box. The double zippers make them easy to get on and off and they look great.

    Great boots.

They fit well right out of the box. Long wearing and the side zippers make taking them on and off a breese. Highly recommended.

    great value

These boots are solid as can be. Well made and nicely finished. They seem sturdy enough to hold up to the abuse I tend to give to all my foot wear. Great support. I love the combination of zippers and laces. It is comforting to know that in the event of an injury they would be easily removed with out excessive pain.

    Good Boots for the $$$

Good, well made boots. You will need new insoles, they are hard as a rock. Got some athletic insoles & they fit right over what's in there. The tongues are not leather, looks like felt or suede so not sure how water resistant this design will be (hasn't rained here since I bought em). Ordered size 11, too small! Returned for a refund & ordered size 12-perfect! Motorcycle Superstore OUTSTANDING Customer Service as Usual!!

    Nice boots

These boots are fairly nice at the price point. The zippers are holding up really well, but slipping them on can be a bit tough. They are very comfortable, I've been wearing them for a solid month now and they are breaking in very well. The one problem I've had was at 3 weeks in. There is a leather heel on the boots and the one in my left boot came loose at work. I had to glue it back in and it has been solid for about a week, but it seems a bit early for something to go wrong with them.

    Good boot overall

I'm short and I needed boots to help me get a good footing. So I bought these boots. As of 6 months, they've been serving me well; I have a good footing, without looking like I'm wearing high heels. The double zipper is another plus. I do not have to untie my laces to get the boots off. On the downside, the toe side is a little high. It makes shifting gears a little awkward, but not impossible. Overall, I'd recommend this boot.

I knew if I had ordered boots through motorcycle Superstore, I would get good value boots. And that's exactly what I got. Great Boots for the price paid.

Overall, a good dry weather boot.

Pros: - Sizes run wide - Have held up well to shifter wear - Look good - Comfortable...mostly. Cons: - Tongue isn't wide enough - Not even the slightest bit water resistant. - No real cushioning inside. - Makes my feet and knees hurt when climbing stairs. - Heals hurt after riding for a few hours.

River Road Double - Zipper Field Boots

Pretty good buy. Boots looked better in the pictures. Size was right on. More toe room than most boots which is okay because sometimes depending on weather, I wear gortex socks and the extra toe room is nice. I do like the aggressive sole and thickness. Time will tell with durability. Double zipper is non-functional. Zippers don't go down far enough to get the boots off. You have to unlace to get them off. As time goes on I can see the zippers will fall and loosen up, so a pair of longer laces wrapped around the whole boot as they are tied off under the zippers will hold them up. My old boots were Milwaukee brand and were much more comfortable. All around the Milwaukee's are a better boot than the River Road. They were the same price too. Quality along with fit and finish were better with my old boots. Not sure if the River Road boots can be re-soled but my Milwaukee boots can be.

    A Good Purchase

The boots are great so far (I have had them for about a month or so). They are sturdy, fairly heavy yet comfortable. Thankfully they have loosened up a bit since I purchased them...they needed to be broken in. Like some others who have noted, the zippers help but you are unable to take the boot off without undoing the laces. It isn't that big of a deal, but when you just want to take them off it adds another step or two. Good quality, good price, good service. I'd buy them again.
