About Suzuki GSX-R1000 Motorcycles - The Suzuki GSX-R1000 has been a three time winner of Motorcycle USA’s Superbike Smackdown. First introduced in 2001, the Suzuki GSX-R1000 replaced the GSX-R1100. The Suzuki GSX-R1000 superbike has a 999cc four-stroke four-cylinder liquid cooled engine, high-tech aerodynamic bodywork, 3 way adjustable foot pegs, electronically controlled steering damper, and a slipper clutch. This liter bike also has the Suzuki-Drive Mode Selector (S-DMS) which allows the rider to select from three different engine settings to adjust for varying track or road conditions.
