Avoid Mud at All Cost

Great on the road, lots of confidence in the twisties. But don't fool yourself in off road conditions that could be muddy. This is a street tire with passable performance on groomed dry dirt roads. Go in mud and you'll dump it.

The tire performed as good or better than any dual sort tire I've used. Riding on the road, in the sand, on dirt roads and getting better mileage than any of the tires. This is my second set and I love them. I have 4937 miles on the rear and the front looks like it will do another rear tire.

One great tire

I'm rating the front tire because I cannot believe how far I have driven it and the replace slashes are just showing. I've ridden nearly 20K maybe more on this tire in all kinds of conditions except no ice or snow. I've made a near circumnavigation of the U.S. on it riding in pretty chilly conditions, very hot conditions and mild weather. It has never failed me. Good grip and turning on damp and wet roads. I've ridden on roads after a quick shower, rain and downpour. It has never slipped. I am often riding two up with my girl friend and never felt uncertain on these tires and especially the front one. While they are ready to replace, it is because the center is wearing. I still have a fair amount of turning tread on it. I feel much more comfortable leaning into a turn on these. The front tire has last through one and a half rear tires of the same PR4. Yes, the tire is more expensive than many, but I'd never skimp for safety and good wear. Given I do not change my own tires, The extra wear saves more than just the cost of tires because I'm not sure why, but stores charge an arm and a leg to do it.

Both front and rear seem to be a excellent tire. I haven't had the tires long enough to rate the tire life. The cornering is jjust as good as Anakee 2. The only down side tomthese tires are the noise. The mid range from about 30 to 60 is quite loud, doesn't have any vibration. Looking forward to evaluate the mileage. Great dualsport tire.
