Died in 7 months

Battery worked well at first, and was fully charged prior to installation. Always top off with Battery Tender at least once per week. One day, after riding to work, nothing. Not even lights. Metered it at 0.1 volts.

Careful on Harley iron 883

So even though this thing is recommended and a fit...the terminal posts are not in an ideal position. They sit on top and set back instead of flush with the side. Harley leaves no wire play and to go from a side flush mount to a top mount was nearly impossible. Plus these posts require a nut to be threaded from the bottom onto the screw going into the post. Wow what a massive pain in the... Because of the mandatory top mount of the wires because of the post positions the battery couldn't slide entirely into the battery sleeve. So the battery cover wouldn't completely lock back into the joke. Needed to use a small black zip tie to keep the side cover on which is hidden by the seat. However, bike started right up with the battery

Poor performance worse warranty

Purchased this battery for my 950 last fall. Used it for one trip then stored for winter. Weak in spring then completed failed. Battery overheated and damaged case. Ballistic will not warranty; claims bike defective. Nothing wrong with bike; lead battery works fine. Will never purchase a ballistic battery again.

Standard Battery

This battery works well considering that all lithium batteries in cold weather and at higher altitudes don't hardly work. Decent product and won't leave you stranded.

Does not fit a 2010+ Husaberg

I wish I could tell you how good this battery is but I can't get it in my bike. The Husaberg 450 has two groves on the R/H side of the battery box, the battery doesn't. The shipping was strange as well the battery was loose in the shipping box with the battery box loose next to it with two crumpled sheets of shipping paper doing very little.
