2015 V Star 1300 deluxe

The exhaust appears to be very well built. The fitment is very good and they match the bike very well. They sound awesome.

Nice pipes

Went on easily. Good fit, all the parts needed were there so I didn't have to keep any of the used stuff around. Went on pretty simply. Someone mentioned the heat shields, but they were no more a pain than any other pipes with hose clamps for the heat shields. Drove me nuts until I sat back, had a beer, cooled off, and then slid them on. Have a really good sound more like my 350 El Camino than a bike. We'll see how they sound in a few thousand miles. I like them and would definitely recommend them.

good product

I put this on a 2015 Yamaha Stryker. This is my first bike and my first exhaust so the install took me a little while...maybe 2.5 hours but it went pretty smooth once I deciphered the instructions (they stink and I couldn't find a download for the document either). The heat shields were the worst part if you have big man sized mitts when you are trying to get the clamps lined up and pulled through. Anyway, the performance more than made up for the installation time. coming from stock exhaust to this was a big upgrade in sound and performance. Like a previous reviewer said, the bike now sounds more like a mean ass american muscle car than anything else. I know people can feel and hear me coming now :) I also have a cobra powerpro black tuner that was already in place and working so I didnt experience any fuel mixture issues either. definitely recommended

High Quality

This exhaust system is definitely high quality. The materials and build are very well done. The welds are professional and look and feel like they will hold up for a long time. I also noticed a much stronger pull all through the power band. I did not have the bike dyno'ed, but it feels stronger. The tone is deep and sounds more like a small block V-8 than a bike. It sounds great! I also installed a Stage 3 Jet Kit from Factory Pro, so I can't say that all of the performance gains are from the exhaust. Installation note: the heat shields are a pain to put on. I took one star off on installation because the heat shield slightly rubbed the rear brake pedal, and I had to "finagle" it quite a bit to get the brake to function properly. I think that's a common issue on other exhaust systems that have bigger than factory headers. I would recommend this product.
