First roll handle bar bag

So far despite the previous reviews this bag has held up wonderful. Like any product, wear usually is user dependant. It fit well on the front of my 2009 Vulcan 900. Got to use the rain cover and it stays on well, but wish the draw string was a little more pliable when tightening. The addition of a carry handle to move bag is awesome. The bag holds tons of luggage.

Roll bag

The bag fit perfect on my Rocker, great for short rides. the main compartment zipper broke after just 7 months of use making the bag worthless. This roll bag is not worth the money. Kuryakyn needs to come up with a better zipper, won't buy another one.

Roll Bag

The bag fit great on my 2010 rocker, just what I needed for short rides. The main zipper started to come apart at 7 months, couldn't close it all the way. After that the bag was worthless, great bag with a crappy zipper.

Roll Bag + 9-months

First impression of the roll bag was excellent. Size was perfect for lots of things, lots of great mounting options, access through either the top hatch or the ends was excellent, waterproof cover and shoulder strap even came in handy on several occasions. However, shortly after I started using it, the plastic rain-seal part of the zipper started shredding and coming off. Then about 6-months later, the main hatch zipper started to come apart such that I could not zip it all the way shut. Now it's 9-months from date of purchase and, the zipper is completely broken and the bag is no longer closeable. Also, it is nice that the bag keeps it's shape, but it doesn't do it well enough. Depending on how you tie it down, the bag will slowly squash itself and loosen your tie-down job, allowing it to come loose. While it lasted, it was a great bag. But it really suffers in durability.

Kuryakyn roll bag

It is hard to beat the quality and durability of Kuryakyn and this little roll bag is no exception. I was pleasantly surprised with the workmanship as well as the features that include small side pockets and zippered main compartment expandability. The weather resistant zipper design is indicative of the attention to detail. I bought this bag as a supplement to my larger Grand tour bag (outstanding). My disappointment is in the overall size. The bag dimensions were not provided in the online product description so be careful. It is only about 10" in diameter and 24" long but can be expanded in length by about 4" or so through the expansion zipper system. As an additional bag it is OK holding a light jacket, cap and a few small items but will not serve as a primary travel bag unless you are only going for a single overnight ride and already have space for a raingear and other essentials.
