Kurakyn Classic Tour Bag

The Classic Tour Bag is not your traditional roll bag. Place it on your luggage rack and securely fasten it to your sissy bar with its wide hook and loop strap. Place it on your passenger seat and it is perfectly sized to provide lumbar support for the rider. With its large center hatch and zippered ends you can gain access to the main compartment from almost any side. Expand the end compartments when you need that extra room and pack away. The weather is little threat with traditional Küryakyn weather resistant construction and new self sealing zippers. For those severe storms simply throw on the fully protective rain cover - The Classic Tour Bag provides ample protection for your items.

  • Zippered ends and large hatch allow access to main compartment from almost all sides
  • Expandable side compartments provide extra room when you need it and keep the bag narrow when you don't
  • Waterproof zippers with large glove-friendly pulls
  • 1200 Denier construction for durability
  • Wide hook-&-loop belt securely attaches bag to any backrest
  • Convenient shoulder strap makes it easy to carry into the hotel after a long ride
  • Semi-rigid construction provides support so the bag retains its shape - even when empty
  • Included Items: Bag, Shoulder Strap, Two Adjustable Universal Straps & Rain Cover

great fit and versatility but poor quality

Great versatility but the product quality is poor. Used the bag maybe six times and one of the rings used to fasten the bag to the bike ripped off. Quite disappointing given the cost of the bag. Would not recommend this bag.

Overall a solid product. Provides plenty of carry space. Looks good. Haven't had it in rain yet nor long enough to really rate durability but appears to be well constructed.

Great bag! Marginal Rain Cover

Purchased the bag for an 8 day, 3000 mile, 11 state trip. Deliver time was excellent. The bag itself is very durable and worth it. Rode in rain for two days. After the second day, there were signs of water intrusion, and my stuff got wet. Looking from the inside of the bag outward towards light revealed that material had disintegrated. Apparently, wind caused it to chafe and lose its integrity. Would recommend the bag, but not the rain cover.

Great all around bag

Bought it and went on an 1800 mile trip. I put it on the back seat of a Victory Cross County Tour and it also doubled as a back rest, held enough cloths to last most of the trip. There were enough rings that I can mount it either on the top of the trunk the rack on the back of my wifes back and on my back seat.

Nice, plenty big

I expected something a tad smaller, but it's a great bag and works great.

So good I got a second one

I used this bag on two bikes (my VStar 1300 and now my Statoliner Deluxe). It is my daily bag. This is the second one because it is a nearly daily use and I have worn it out after 40,000 miles. It has never been wet inside - with or without the cover (which was not always with me). It will hold clothes for a weekend, laptop when on call, notebooks and cones when teaching the MSF courses. This bag is definitely a Classic!

Great piece of luggage

More room than you might think and it fit perfectly on the back seat of my R1150RT. Took it from Oakland to Minnesota and back and it did the job while being easy to load and unload. Highly recommended.

Classic Bag

Got this bag and the Ultra bag for my Triumph America...first time on and went through 3 thunderstorms in Florida...with the rain covers on..no leaks...and was I surprised...with all the 'D' rings and the securing straps everything was very solid on the bike...really would recommend this luggage.

Just what I needed

I can't say enough good about this bag. It fits perfectly on the luggage rack and backrest of my '02 883 Hugger. I use it almost daily for my commute to work. And Motorcycle Superstore is FANTASTIC. When I received my bag, it was missing the shoulder strap. But just a few days after I called to let them know I was missing the strap, I received it. Great customer service. I highly recommend this Kuryakyn bag and Motorcycle Superstore.

Kuryakyn Classic Tour Bag

Just came back from a 2600 mile ride on my Harley Heritage on a trip to Jasper, Alberta. The bag held up exceptionally well through some very wet, cool conditions. I liked the staunch nature of the bag (non-sagging, easy to secure to bike and easy to carry). The rainfly was easy to put on and take off. I also used the bag as a backsupport.

Couldn't be happier

I purchased this bag to go on a 9 day trip from New York to Mertal Beach S.C. and back. Everything I needed I was able to bring. The tie downs worked fine though I did use a few bungee cords for extra support. The expandable side pockets were fine and provided the extra pockets I needed. The Rain cover I thought would be a waste worked out great. That rain storm that leveled N.C. caught up to us in N.J. and we were soaked through except what ever was in my bag was dry. Highly recommended but could use an extra pouch or too.

I have not yet used the bag (the poll forces you to rate the durability even when there is no basis it), however it appears to be very well constructed. I would buy it again.

THE WIFE

I REALLY LIKED THIS BAG. GOOD QUALITY. I BOUGHT IT FOR MY HUSBAND'S BIRTHDAY FOR HIS 94 SOFTTAIL CUSTOM. I WAS TO BIG FOR IT. IF IT CAME SMALLER, HE WOULD OF KEPT IT. THANK YOU

Kuryakyn Classic Tour Bag

Received the bag as promised, snapped it on to the Road Glide in front of the sissy bar and road off to 1500 miles of Central Idaho. Very solid and secure on the bike. Road through two thunderstorms with torrential downpours and everything in the bag stayed dry. (but the raincover was sucked off after the first downpour) The terrific back support was an unexpected surprise. The main flap really fits the back well. This is now my main overnight bag with and without the bike. Even tied it on my horse behind the saddle.

Versatile Bag will fit most any bike.

I've used this bag on 5 different bikes, and it's easy to switch back and forth with the build in straps. I got tired of buying hard trunks for each bike I purchased. I've also used it on the passenger seat for one of my bikes that has a tail trunk. It makes a very comfortable backrest in this configuration. The bag has multiple compartments with easy access, including a pass through access from either side. I even used this bag a couple of times to transport my hedge trimmer and leaf blower to my summer house. A very versatile and well made bag. Get one.
