Don't do it.....

I didn't realize this was an oversize kit when I ordered it. I just wanted a new set of bearings and have generally been pleased with Moose's products. Received the kit, installed it in the hub and could not for the life of me get the bearings centered in the hub, (inner brake pad was dragging). I eventually removed the Moose bearings, went back to stock bearings and had no problem. My best guess is that the spacer tube is just a touch too long and prevents the bearing from seating all the way.

Moose Spoke Set

Used these spokes to build a new wheel for my XR400. Great fit and worked well with the Moose Rim and stock hub. The problem started when torqing them to spec. One of the spokes snapped. I had to order another WHOLE SET to finish the wheel. Motorcycle Superstore stepped up and I didnt have to pay for another set, but did have to wait a week for the second set to arrive. If Moose would add one, maybe two extra spokes to the kit, it would be great!

Awesome for the money...

I needed a replacement rear wheel for my CRF450R. I got a complete set front and rear with spokes for less than a replacement rear wheel alone. They are not Excels and not sure about long term, but for the price they are awesome. I don't race, so I'm sure they will hold up just fine. Finish was nice and seem durable. Spoke set was very nice and full stainless steel. The rims trued up nicely, but I did notice they have a spot when turning them on a truing stand that is not perfectly round... maybe a seam from manufacturing (welding)? This does not affect anything and it is only covering an area of about an inch and a half... Transversely, the wheels came out almost perfect when trued and they seem very smooth when ridden (at least I can't feel anything abnormal). I am very happy with this purchase and I would highly recommend this set to anyone in need as a recreation wheel set. Maybe for race too, but I can't speak for that...
