Worth the $
Don't get me wrong if you want loud here it is. Sounds great on the freeway and when you punch it she screams. I wish there was a baffle that came with it. I feel paranoid driving it to work at 5:20am through residential areas. It does discolor pretty bad like a glass pipe (if you just want the chrome look). Definitely makes you feel like you have a larger bike with the sound. Jetkit is a must mine backfires too much (without a jetkit).

Installed on 2000 Vstar 1100 Classic. One pipe was a pain to get on. The bolt hole didn't want to line up even though it was on all the way. I eventually got it. Had to re-jet also. Was cracking and backfiring BAD, even with the AIS blocked. Still cracks on deceleration coming down a mountain some. These pipes sound AWESOME!!! They are LOUD when you get on the throttle and have a nice non obnoxious sound while cruising. WELL WORTH THE MONEY! and half the price of the bigger named pipes.

Louder than what I prefer. The installation instructions could be better, in bigger print and the pictures in better detail. Installation wasn't too bad, but the back pipe's flange could be milled a bit better to allow for easier installation through the frame. They did improve the performance of the bike, but I am going to install a jet kit. Major weight reduction to the bike when getting rid of the stock pipes and the collector under the bike.
