Great summer jacket

This is my third Tourmaster textile coat and I highly recommend their product because they are well made and last. The fit is great and allows for plenty of air flow. It's the best fitting jacket I've worn so far.

Nice fit

The jacket fits very nice and gives adequate space for movement. I kind of like a semi-snug fit that isn't restrictive and this makes me a little hard to please. I normally wear a large regular coat but XL for motorcycle jackets to give a little (very little) room for layers. With the rain liner out the fit is a little more comfortable and i think will be fine with a couple of other warmer layers when needed.

Great jacket for riding in the summer heat

I purchased this jacket for summer weather riding. The air flow through this jacket is awesome when you are moving. Sitting at a red light in 90 degree weather is never fun and you will feel the heat no matter what jacket you purchase. I got the HI-VIS YELLOW/BLACK and it makes me more visible when riding. I'm 5' 11" and 185lbs and I purchased the XL because I don't like anything tight on me. The XL fits me great. I have room to add a layer under the jacket for those days when it's cool in the morning and hot in the afternoon. The shoulder pads are a little stiff bit other than that, the jacket perfect. The jacket is well made. I would highly recommend this jacket to someone looking for a jacket with great ventilation and at a great price!

GREAT JACKET

I ride a bike with a fairing and windshield and often get hot while riding, even in the mountains. This jacket is comfortable and lets in the cool air. It fits well and is made by a great company. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a comfortable jacket for hot weather.

Great jacket

This jacket gives me just what I am looking for in a protective riding jacket without a lot of distracting logos lettering and etc. I've been wearing it in the hot muggy weather here in the Midwest this summer and once I am moving the airflow works well. It's too warm to stand around in. I got a large (Med too small) and it fits well. Whoever thought the inside and outside pockets were large enough should try to fit a smartphone or another pair of glasses in them. Futile. That's my only complaint about this jacket. The zip out liner rides nicely in the lumbar pocket. It looks great. The comfort of wearing and knowing the padding is there is a big plus for me. I tried on a variety of Joe Rocket jackets before finding this one. This is the one I liked best. I've worn tour master riding gloves for years.

A great summertime jacket!

Only jacket I found that had the hard shoulder and elbow protection at a price I could afford. Plus an articulated back pad. Largest available was a 3X. Could use a 4X, but I guess it's time to lose a little weight. Was using a heavy leather jacket that is treated to reduce UV rays and heat absorption, but still not made for the hot days of summer. Last time I rode with that jacket, I think I got overheated..fingers cramping..eyes hard to focus..finally stopped at DQ and got some ice water and a medium cone. Finally cooled down enough to finish the ride home, but without the protective gear so I could stay cool. Felt sketchy without protection. Now I'm covered. Thanks.

Good for hot days

Well constructed. good fit. nice armor on elbows and shoulders. perfect airflow for summer days. Only small critic is about the pocket size and positions. They are all small and like in most jackets the cell-phone designated pocket is much too small for most modern devices like Samsung Galaxy and I phone 6+. But that would not stop me to buy the jacket again.

DRAFT AIR 3 TOURMASTER JACKET - WORTH THE MONEY

I’m a Tourmaster guy. I think the brand offers a fine quality product. I have one of their leather jackets which is now six years old and is still tough as nails so it was a no brainer for me to pursue their line of jackets for warm weather riding. I’m big on safety when it comes to running around on two wheels but I can’t don the heavy leather jacket anymore in 90 degree heat, I about pass out from heat stroke. I pursued Tourmaster’s line of warm weather jackets and decided to go with this Draft Air 3, jacket. I wasn’t disappointed. Last month I went on a 2000 mile round trip to and from the Great Smokey Mountains and each day was sunny, blistering hot and humid. Removal of the wind-resistant liner allowed this jacket to breathe which was very comfortable at cruising speeds. When you’re sitting in slow moving traffic or stopped on the highway due to construction sites, sure, you’re gonna feel the heat but you’re gonna feel the heat with nothing but a t-shirt on, too, right? There’s armor in all the right areas and in the medium sized jacket, the armor doesn’t feel intrusive nor did I feel any pressure points. The fit is great, I’m 5’11 and tip the scales at 170 and there are no problems with tight-fitting-here, loose-fitting-there areas. I originally went with a large, but returned it for a medium due to the large was a bit baggy on my frame. The customer service at the Superstore was first class all the way. No hassles, no attitudes when talking to one of their reps on the phone. I will definitely buy from them again. The jacket is nice, sure you can pound the internet and look for lower prices to spend on your riding gear but for me, I’d rather spend a little extra for something of quality that will endure. You can’t go wrong with this jacket for summer in the Midwest and for hotter than hell bike trips to the Great Smokey Mountains in late August.

Great Jacket

My other jacket is a 3 season 3/4 length jacket that works fine when the temps are below 80, but summers along the Gulf Coast can be brutal! July and August regularly had temps in the mid to upper 90's and heat indexes well over 100 and occasionally over 110! The first day I wore the jacket I was impressed by the just right fit. I'm 5'-9" and around 240 lbs, my little pauchy belly fit with no problem. The material breathes great!, the armor is comfortable and if I had to make a criticizm, I would have to say the back armor causes a pinch of sweat, but the rest of the jacket is a cool breeze! I wish I would have purchased this one first!
