Dainese Women's Raptor Jacket

Filling somewhat of a void in Dainese’s lineup, the all new women’s Raptors jacket offers up versatile sport performance at an entry level price point. The all textile construction is quite lightweight and with only a non-removable mesh lining, the Raptors is ideal in spring and summer months. Protection comes courtesy of Dainese’s trademark CE composite shoulder and elbow armor and if you want airflow, four generous vents (two shoulder, two arm) do the trick. All things simple and yet proven and in this case, let you have Dainese product for not a lot $.

Cost Benefit

Great Jacket! Looks great and feels great

I wear an Alpinestars small and got the 42 - perfect fit. It's a bit long on me 'cause I'm 5'1". It does not come with back protection so you should order the smaller Dainese insert. It says the larger one fits but it's so large that if you have a supersport (like my ZX6r), your helmet hits the back protector and you cannot see properly. If you have an upright motorcycle you may be fine - or if you're taller maybe. If you're wondering about the shoulders - the exterior protectors are probably just for looks, but there are larger ones inside. They are still smaller than the alpinestar ones. I ride in Tucson and this has been great for the winter 40-60F temps with maybe a riding underwear shirt under or thin sweater. In the heat it gets very sweaty so I'll probably get a mesh jacket for 75F+ temps. Overall I'm really happy with the jacket, it's comfortable, looks great, a little pricey but Dainese is a great brand, and so far it seems very durable. **One excellent improvement to my Alpinestars is that the sleeves have a zipper and a BUTTON! No velcro! The neck is the same so hopefully that resists wear better :) Safe riding and if you're looking for a matching helmet to the pink/white/black color scheme, try the Shoei Seduction :)
