used it before and I knew it was top notch

I used this product some years ago while restoring a YZ465 and it did an amazing job. I have used it on yellow plastic and white plastic and it worked great. My advice...take the time to sand and prep, put your cell phone away and take the time to sand and prep as per instructions, and you should have great results.

Excellent stuff

I put Plastic Renew on my 2000 Excursion 3 years ago, rear bumper pad, running boards, front bumper cladding and mirrors. I am completely amazed by the results. It all still looks like brand new to this day.

Waste of money

This has to be the biggest disappointment of any product I have purchased in a long time. After carefully following directions, I found that this stuff leaves the plastic in worse shape than when you start. Just use "Mothers" plastic care for better results. I sent this stuff back.

nice product!

Very easy product to use to restore plastics on my bike. After a lite sanding and after about 20 coats of the product, my plastics looked new. I recommend this product to anyone who needs to update old and wore out plastics.

Work your butt off

You better be prepared to work your butt of on this one. In order to get a factory finish you are going to need to sand any and all scratches out. Then you'll need to wet sand, then basically buff the surface. This took me about 2 hours for one panel on my dirt bike after that I decided it would be more cost effective to order a new set of plastic instead of trying to refinish.

A miracle product.

I used this to refinish all of the plastics on a severely oxidized 1986 XR200R and, except for the lack of OEM decals, the finish looks almost stock. All of the outcome is really in the amount of preparation you put into it. I find that if you use a flat razor blade from a utility knife to scrape off large amounts of oxidization first, then follow up with the provided wet sandpaper, it saves you time and allows you much more precision. I can't speak to the strength of the finish, because it's only been on the bike for about two weeks and it hasn't been ridden. Mind what soaps and chemicals you use to wash the bike with plastic clear. I give it two thumbs up!

Awsome Product!!!

This is one great product I have to say. I have a 1985 Suzuki SP600 and the plastics for this bike was going to run near the $300 range. I thought this would at least be a cheaper alternative and after the first few coats on my front fender I could see the difference. WOW!!! A major difference. After a few more coats the streaks disappeared and the finished results were so close to perfect that I had to take the time to let others know of it. I promise, you will not be disappointed. The more time you put into your project and the more coats you use the better. I used eight coats and spent approximately 2-2 1\2 hours. Thank You.
