Maxima - Fork Oil

Needing a rebuild on front forks for three motorcycles all requiring 10wt oil I decided to try Maxima 10 Fork oil, I felt the price was good they offer it in Liter bottles so two bottles took care of my needs, Flushed my forks of old oil, installed new seals and dust boots and refilled with Maxima Fork Oil and all three bikes are working well with it, I have no complaints what so ever, seems to be doing the job just fine.

Good product.

I’m pleased with my purchase, great price. The product works great and it’s nice to know exactly what weight you have in your forks.

Good oil - at least for mountain bikes

I rebuild my mountain bike fork every 2 months, replacing seals once a year. I ride every other day in rocky mountainous freeride country. I use rockshox boxxer dh forks exclusively. I ride hard and a lot, covering about 3000 miles a year. I have been using more expensive color coded oils like golden spectra and buena vista etc. I decided to try this because it's 1/3 the price. This oil is clear. I like the clear oil because it's much easier to see the oil is dirty. I use a mix of 15 and 20 wt for the compression and rebound legs. My fork is an open oil bath type which takes a lot of oil per change for a mountain bike - about 200 ml. For this application, this oil is as good as the more expensive versions. Moto forks, of course, get much more heat and action so I can't speak for the oil under that stress.
