Fly Street M16 Canvas Riding Shoes

A brand new riding shoe from Fly, the M16 channels some of that classic hi-top sneaker look and then adapts it for real world motorcycle riding. Available in two different variations, canvas or waterproof leather, Fly lets you pick between summertime and heat or clouds and drizzle. Either way you get a crush resistant sole, dual density ankle protectors and toe and heel reinforcements. In addition, a composite shank is stiff enough for safety but compliant enough for vibration dampening. Wear them just for the ride or all day long, the M16 is ready to go.
  • Ballistic textile upper

  • Dual density ankle protectors on lateral and medial sides

M16 riding shoe

I would have been better off wearing Converse. Stumped my toe and pulled sole lose, no toe support for shifter and shoes are hot on feet. Very disappointed.

I Thought I was Wearing Cardboard!

Good looking shoe, Good price but felt awful when I wore them. The uppers were stiff, annoying and it felt like I was wearing cardboard! Sole of shoe had questionable gripping properties which for me was a real issue. I returned the shoes without further wear. I am still looking for the right soft riding shoe.

Vegan riding shoes

Searched for some vegan riding shoes that can also double as appropriate shoes of the office. Most options look aggressive (although probably provide better protection). These are super lightweight, but feel and behave as strong and durable. Some composite materials are used (for strength). Bit tight on the ankle. Laces are super long, but manageable. Straps would be easier. Overall great choice if you want to also walk around with these shoes in an office environment after riding to work.
