Decent but not the best

I like the colors and the material but the armor was the first thing to go. It feels very unnatural and doesn't stay in place because the shirt is a type of material that cannot hold it in place. With the armor gone the shirt fit how I wanted it to... a bit loose and able to fit a warm layer like a hoodie under it if needed. The other thing I didn't like about the shirt is the awful patches sewn on it. Both were taken off and now it looks good. They are something you would see on a Ed Hardy shirt or Affliction. Some people might like these but not me. They are easy to take off. Overall it is a decent shirt but I would recommend the "Black 9" shirt by Speed and Strength. It is a nicer material and overall looks better. The armor in this shirt is useless and you will most likely be taking it out. So save a bit of money and just go with the Black 9, no armor and fits the same. I bought a XL; 6'0" 200lbs.

Too loose to be effective.

I'm 5'7" and 160 lbs. The small size fit is boxy and way too loose. I returned it so did not have a chance to crash it, but it seems that CE armor would not hold their place in the event I went down.

Great jacket for the money

Nice jacket for the money. A few of the seams on the armor pockets were off as well as some loose threads here and there. To be expected on any clothing product but i felt that it was more than usual. $120 for a armored lightweight jacket that looks sweet is still a great value.

Good, but not great international value

Living in Australia can be problematic in buying items from overseas, such as this shirt. Great look, great write up by retailers, including the Australian retailer from where it was purchased who used the US write up. Unfortunately it had to be purchased on line at an inflated cost, but if the size was way off it could be returned easier. I find the material to be light, with the armour not firmly kept in place and the kevlar to be small in size. Because of those reasons, hitting the ground would rip the fabric dislodging the armour. Not good. Great appearance and fit over a jumper, or over a tee shirt. A little bit more thought in sturdier construction would be an advantage. Having said the above, I will buy another one from US when the dollar improves.

good shirt

Great look awesome features. Good quality design and finish. I am 5'10 195 ordered a large and its snug. XL would probably be a perfect comfortable fit. It a good 50-80 degrees jackect. Over that your sweating buckets. Great bang for the buck I highly recommend.

I Enjoy the Speed and Strength Armored Shirt

The armored shirt provides adequate protection and is an in between choice for spring and summer. I wear it when my winter coat is too heavy and my mesh jacket is to light. Nice look and good fit. I wear an XL in a regular shirt and a XXL for the armored shirt--fits great. Nice alternative to black riding jackets too. I would recommend the armored shirt by Speed and Strength.

Redemption Armored shirt is nice. Wish it has an internal pocket.

I like this shirt. It looks good and appears to be made quite well. The armor seems up to snuff as well. It is fairly warm. I have worn it on several rides and it was super comfortable. On the downside there is no internal pocket for phone or music player. That is a big disappointment for me. You would think that a shirt that costs this much money would at least have one internal pocket. I know it is a shirt but in reality it is more of a jacket than a shirt.
