the product was very well built and laid out, the fitment was perfect the look on my vtx was awesome however the quality did not meet my expectations, when I opened the package some of the black paint had chipped off of the weld at a major joint, although you cannot see this when it is on the bike, and I repainted it, I was a bit disappointed.

I bought this to protect a section of the exhaust on my Kawasaki Nomad. The pipe was already double-walled, but tended to get very hot. The Cobra Shield does a great job of protecting the pipe (and my pants). It fits perfectly in this application, and looks like an integral part of the exhaust system. I am very pleased with this item and with the great service from Motorcycle Superstore.

WHAT A DIFFRENCE

Installed in less than an hour. Took a short ride and could feel the difference in the throttle response. Next day took a longer ride and still feels great would recommend this to anyone that has added pipes and breathers and don't have the time or money to dyno everytime you add anything to there ride.

I replaced the stock exhaust with Cobra dragsters. Very pleased. Sound is great and overall performanced is increased. My VTX1800 was an animal, now it is a BEAST! Fuel adjustments are a must when exhaust systems are modified.
