Although the description and item selection (for a Nomad 1700) suggest that this sissy bar will work, in reality, for it to fit, you have to disassemble the existing seat. All of the existing seat components have to be removed, including the chrome & plastic pieces that make up the handles and frame covers. All that is left is the bare seat frame. If you want a taller seat, you have to settle for ugly, since the handles & chrome pieces can't go back on the bike.

Upon receiving the Cobra Bars I immediately noticed the superb chrome plating. Further inspection revealed no scratches or blemishes, nor was the weld irregular or faulty about the area. Installation was a half hour tops. No dig on Cobra, install was on a Vulcan Classic 1500 Anniversary and I would have preferred the bottom bars to be angled out than up for foot room when stopping. Product is tops and service at Motorcycle Superstore above standard.

These clamps are great. I've been trying to get some of these bolt ones and all I could find were the cheap worm drive clamps that broke when over tightened. I tried to get one from TBR, but never got feedback from them on just ordering this part (Exhaust Clamp). Works great for DIY projects for your exhaust.

Nice fit, easy to install, but they blued really fast (110 miles), finish is not as good as the Jardines. Do some research on the two types and save yourself some disappointment. I replaced mine after a year and a half but I do ride alot.

These bolted on just fine. If you follow the inst. to the letter. It goes on fine and the heat shields fit great and look good. Dont worry about any small flaws in the pipes because the heat shields look and fit that good. And sound will depend on your choice of mufflers. Great deal over the higher price systems. And made in USA.

The floorboards are great. Should have put them on years ago. The install on my 2006 Sabre was easy and only took a few minutes.
