Product Information

Scorpion Yosemite Pants

There’s more than one way to achieve waterproofing; Scorpion knows this and that’s why they’re offering the Yosemite pants alongside their other adventure touring pant, the Yukon. Instead of the integrated waterproof membrane found on the Yukon, the more hot weather suited Yosemite pants utilize a removable waterproof liner. And while you might be tempted to think this is slightly less convenient, this setup pays dividends in warmer weather allowing you to remove the liner and open up adjustable thigh vents for straight through airflow. Protection-wise, the Yosemite sticks with Scorpion’s tried and true Sas-Tec CE knee armor and if the PE foam hip pads aren’t enough, you do have the option of upgrading them to Sas-Tec armor.
  • 500 denier nylon main material with heavy duty 1680 denier nylon abrasion zones at knees and seat
  • Adjustable vents on front and rear of thigh for flow through ventilation
  • All critical seams are Exo-Stich® Safety Seams with heavy bar tacking at high stress areas
  • Two large cargo pockets thighs, and two front hand pockets
  • New Sas-Tec® viscoelastic CE certified armor with molded Velcro® at knees for infinite adjustability
  • Pockets with PE foam at hips can be upgraded with Sas-Tec® CE certified armor for extra protection
  • NightViz® reflective on thighs and lower legs for nighttime visibility
  • Removable AirGuard® waterproof / windproof liner
  • Large Velcro® adjustment areas at bottom of cuff
  • 8” #5 YKK® zipper and elastic panel for connecting Jacket to pants

Nice pants

I'm 165lbs, 5'10", 36" measured waist, wear 34x32 in jeans. Size large fit me perfectly. I did cinch up the adjusters a little so there is more room in this size still. Length was perfect. Moved knee armor all way up. Armor fit into a pocket, and has Velcro holding it in place so you can adjust it a little. They fit over my adventure style riding boots no problem. Airflow was just OK. Over 90 might be an issue. All 4 pockets are good size.

Scorpion Yosemite Pants Review

I have had them for only a few months. I bought a Large, I am 5'8" tall and about 155 pounds, but it was way to small, could barely close the waist belt, pockets were too large and had too many of them (zippers), got pretty dirty so took off hip and knee protection when put in washer and cannot for the life of me cannot figure out how to put them back, they did handle the cold and the warmth pretty good but terrible fit, if someone is going to buy these buy an extra large if you are normally medium which I was.

Great Adventure Gear!

Very comfortable with excellent protection! Somewhat stiff initially, but break in quickly. Venting is adequate for warm days, but haven't experienced the heat of the Arizona summer yet. Large velcro opening on lower legs makes getting boots on and off very easy. Pockets on thighs are roomy and do not interfere with movement. Fits correctly for size ordered. Knee and thigh pads offer great protection. Overall, a very impressive piece of gear.
