Just what I was looking for

I was looking for a good pair of pants to wear as over pants on my way to work. These are perfect. I like the over all look and quality. They have ample hip padding and CE approved armor in the knees that is adjustable for two different heights. Also they zip into my Joe rocket phoenix jacket. Nice Pants!

Great Pants

Highly Recommended!!! The Joe Rocket Phoenix 2.0 pants are great. I wear them year round for riding in Oregon and California. My wife loves them and wears shorts under her size, men’s small, in the summer time. (I could not find them in a woman’s size.) We both wear the Phoenix jackets. VERY cool on a hot; great protection from Oregon’s Yellow jackets and other creatures that love to smack into riders. The Phoenix pants run small where the jacket is a normal size. I wear 44X32 pants but ne

Excellent for tall guys

These pants have a long inseam, perfect if you are over 6'. If you aren't, I think Joe Rocket addressed this with the "short" version of this pant. The meshing on these is great, lots of breathability. The on/off is a snap with the long side zippers. A little too much padding in the hips, but it's all removable, so who cares about that.

Great Pants

Got them last summer for the summer and they are great pants, way better than jeans and protection is a big plus. I love every feature these pants provide.

Nice mesh pants

I have worn these over dress pants, jeans, and shorts. They are very comfortable in any situation. They also dry quickly when you get caught in the rain. If you wear a 34 buy a 34 waist. They fit true to size in my case.

Nice and Cool

I am 6’4” & 220 and a 34. I got the XL size. The pants work great. I can put them over jeans, shorts and I am able to wear them by themselves, if it is super hot out. I have the armor in the lower pocket and it sit perfect on my knees. The hip armor is great and the back zipper connects to my tecknic jacket. I can remove them very easily and not look like a tool walking around in motorcycle gear if I am going someplace. I tried them on at a local shop before I bought them. I also tried the Icon Ark Mesh pants on and I liked these much more, The icons did not have the same protection, but did have more pockets (not a big deal, because my jacket has lots of pockets.

Joe Rocket - Phoenix 2.0 Pants

I’m very pleased with this purchase. I like the fit and comfort when riding. I also like the ease of putting the pants on and off. The price was very reasonable also.

Satisfied Customer

Used the advice of previous reviews successfully and am satisfied with my purchase. I ordered the size recommended by the chart, and it has enough extra room to go snugly over a pair of jeans. Perfect in my book.

More Great Gear

Have teamed these with my Phoenix jacket for 50-60 degree weather, works pretty well with shorts but would need a windblock underlayer for colder temps; don't know about summer weather yet. Size chart indicated my 34W/32L form would need a large short, and it fits well and looks well built. Ordered a large regular initially, tho, and had an excellent no-hassle customer service experience - thanks again, Motorcycle Superstore!

Just what I needed

I like these pants because they add protection without adding a warming layer. I wear them with a pair of board shorts or just underpants underneath. Air flows well and I stay cool. During the short winter I wore jeans underneath and was comfortable without feeling bound up or overstuffed. Full length zippers on the outside of each leg help to quickly put on and take off. Good solid connection to Pheonix jacket.

Fine pants

These are my first motorcycle pants so I don't have anything to compare to, but they seem fine. The knee pads stay in place better if you're wearing pants underneath. I've worn them in the summer in upstate NY with just shorts on underneath and they were comfortable. No complaints so far.

Joe Rocket Phoenix 2.0 Pants

These pants are great. I exchanged another pair of pants for these because they didn't fit properly. The Joe Rocket pants fit me perfectly. I am 5’9” and 215 lbs with a 38 in waste and 32 inch inseam. I ordered the 2xl pants with the regular length and they fit perfectly. I didn’t' even have to adjust the knee pads. Only two real gripes are that the pants don’t have a way to tighten the cuff around my boots and there is no access to the pockets of the pants you’re wearing underneath.
