Rugged protection...

These are pants I like to wear. They are comfortable and well made. The knee protection hits my knees exactly where it should. (They are not hiking pants!) The waist is comfortable. Pocket space is minimal so you will have to carry your wad in your jacket. The legs are none too long and fit me well if I don't tighten the ankles. If I do the pants ride up over my 6" boots. I have only used them alone in 40-50 degree weather. They are cool and not suitable for cold weather riding. I hope they will be comfortable when the weather gets warmer. It was a very good choice.

Really awesome for the price!

These pants are really awesome for the price and durability where you won't find any where else! Really happy with this brand i will buy from them again! Only down fall was the fit just like other reviews on here but no biggie just have to wear them higher to cover the knees again not a big deal you will feel better protected with these guaranteed!

This pants are a great

Simple, water proof pants. Not so good for winter riding, and to hot to wear in summer since they are not mesh, obviously you can't expect to have mesh pants for this price. Great product.

Not a good fit

Ordered a M-M. Armor pads are bulky and not contoured, pants shorter than desired (and at 5'9" I'm not that tall), I am of average build, but would have to be a lot stockier, say about 185 lbs. for these to fit. Lack of a front pocket (or any other) is a bit annoying. Can't offer much on durability or cost benefit, but finish of materials seems to be good - no loose stitching or other issues. For $60 (on sale) if they actually fit, I'd keep them, but these are going back.

for the price it is 5 star

For the price you cannot go wrong. Period. They are infact, waterproof. Velcro adjustable bottom cuffs help keep rain out. Ordered the large. 6'1 about 200 lbs. I wear jeans/pants underneath. Temp wise, these are uppers 30+ (most people probably upper 40s at least)The liner isn't the warmest so do not expect these to be winter pants. The big test will be durability as I will be using them almost everyday. only time can tell but for over 1 months usage, they appear brand new out of the box.

great pants

Motocentric makes everything well. I have Recon jacket which is super in winter and these pants are just as good. They are not real bulky and provide excellent body heat retention and block wind. They are classified as rain pants but I have not had them in rain storm yet.

Perfect companion

Reading other reviews, I ordered large instead of medium to be able to wear over street clothes. I am 5'-8" and 150Lbs and the fit is perfect! So far it has been a few weeks of winter pleasure riding.

Quality pants!

I received these free with the recon jacket I purchased and they make a great combo. I purchased an xl to wear over other layers comfortably and it fits my 36x32 size well with space to spare. I could have probably gone with a large but the side cinches let me tighten them up enough to stay on and I can definitely add extra layers underneath for extremely cold weather. So far I have ridden in them between 20 and 50f with jeans under and have not been cold yet.

Great pants

I wish they had a longer pant for Tall. Other than that they are great. I have been in the rain with them and no soak through yet. The quality is good so far and the ease of putting them on and off is the easiest of any pant I have owned. I put these on over my jeans so they have room for that. They zip up almost the whole length of the leg so makes getting over your boots easy. velcro up the sides for ease. Great stuff for the price. They are warm too. I am an everyday rider through out the year so take it from me. I took the pads out as I didn't want the extra bulk on my legs, and that was easy to take out. I hope this helps you with your purchase.

Good value

Well made and well designed riding pants. I use them as overpants, even though it says they are not intended for that use. They work great. I stayed warm on my VTX 1300 which has no wind protection for your legs. I like that you can adjust the ankle to hold tight around your boots. they seem like they will be durable and last a long time. I have not tested the waterproof functionality. Follow the sizing chart. Mine were true to size, per the chart.

REALLY SHORT

I unpacked these and took them for one ride. I'm 6'2" have a 34" inseam and the larges fit like parachutes (as planned, as I wanted warm layers to fit), but I sat on the bike and they pulled right up over the tops of my boots. Kinda messes up the whole waterproofing concept.

Good Pants

Great pants for the price. Fit, finish. and wear ability are very good. Extremely comfortable on my initial 500 mile day wearing them in the rain.
