Great Jacket

This is a great jacket. I am 6'3", 240lbs & I normally wear a 2XL. I ordered the 2XL & it fits perfect. Granted the sleeves are snug & if my arms were like a body builder there could be a problem with sleeve fit. The jacket has a lot of body armour which can be removed easily & the armour is in the right places. I am a touring rider & this jacket has plenty of pockets. I recommend it.

Decent jacket with many small negatives

The jacket, on its surface, is quite nice, but there are many small things I dislike about it. The longer I wear it, the more and more I dislike it. Cons: 1. The collar is simultaneously too long (in the back, poking me in the bottom of the head) and too short (in the front, letting a lot of cold air hit my neck. 2. I loathe the velcro wrist straps and main zipper overlay. Not only do I expect the velcro to wear out much much faster than a zipper, but the wrist straps get caught on the inside of a gauntlet glove when rotating the wrist. The main zipper overlay velcro catches on everything, and pokes me in the arms when I have the jacket on the back of a chair. 3. The main (lower) front pockets..why don't they have zippers on the sides?? 4. The tabs (used on the pockets in 3., for the neck strap, and for arm cinches) are tremendously difficult to fasten, especially compared to the 'dot' style tab fasteners 5. The arm cinch straps have extra material that gets caught on my tank bag at every movement, driving me insane. 6. The jacket is often too warm, and too cold, at the same time. My chest will be chilly, while my arms and lower back are toasty. 7. Not quite enough venting for warmer days Pros: 1. Cheap. $59 ain't bad for a new jacket 2. The mini pocket on the right wrist is perfect for earplugs and toll fares. 3. Several waterproof zippered pockets 4. Nice internal pockets 5. Comfortable down to 45 F with the liner in (cannot yet rate durability or effectiveness in the rain) Compared to my previous jacket, the similarly priced Speed and Strength Hell N Back Jacket, I'd take the Hell N Back every. single. time. Overall rating: 3/5

Brigade Jacket

This jacket has to be the best motorcycle clothing that I have ever purchased. I ware an EX-large and hat is what I ordered. The fit was perfect. The sleeves were a little tight at first but were good in just a ride or two. Can't comment on the durability but the quality is far better than other jackets that I have paid three times as much for. It is also warmer than any others that I have. Good Buy

Motocentric jacket

For the price I got it at you won't get a better value for money jacket anywhere. I'm in northern Australia so it's hot right now. Jacket is very comfortable when riding, I leave it un zipped a bit with vents open and it's fine. We are in the wet season right now as well and it is very water proof. However, Arms are a bit long and elbow pads fall a bit low, but with adjusting straps tightened on forearms that helps. Press studs are a bit tight as well. No big deal though. Love it.

You can't beat this jacket for the price

I bought this jacket on close out, but now that I have it I would have gladly paid full price for it. I'm 6'4" 200lbs with a long torso, so I've always had a tough time finding shirts that are long enough, yet alone motorcycle jackets. This jacket is actually long enough to cover my waist! My only complaint about the fitment is the sleeves are a bit tight. I don't have particularly large arms, but even on the loosest setting, the sleeves are a bit tight. It's plenty warm also. On a 35 degree morning, I ended up taking the liner out of the jacket because I was too warm.

MotoCentric Brigade Jacket

First off the jacket is inexpensive and waterproof, which was the selling point for me. It does seem to be generous in the sizing chart though. I normally ware a large but the medium fit great. The only real complaint I have with the jacket is the liner sleeve attachments. For some reason they made the attachment loops inside the sleeves really long. If I get even the slightest bit sweaty, the liner sticks to me. And when this happens I feel like I'm going to rip the liner sleeves every time I take it off. Other than that it's a great jacket!

brigade jacket

The pros- front/rear colour is great. Fit is good but. Love all the pockets. Padding is good for contact sports. Love the liner, warm jacket, thick and bulky for good wind shaping. Double overlap zip on front and waterproof zips are good. The cons- The outside of the sleeves need be partly green or red. The side view shows as black sleeves and shoulder, and looses the hi viz protection. The neck isn't high enough, will be really cold riding. The sleeves could be a bit wider. Quite a tight fit but the measurements are quite close on my small size. The neck snap is a pain bu will probably loosen up. The padding for this touring jacket is overkill but easily removed.

AWESOME products

I came accross the MotoCentric name brand by accident. I looked at the price point on the products and thought to myself "No way I can get all dressed up for inclement weather from head to toe for $250. Usually a good poor weather jacket will run you about $250. So I thought "ok research time" To my surprise I found out the products are American designed and manufactured in Pakistan. I said to myself ok I'll bite, worse thing that could happen is I'm not happy with the products and I'll return them. To my astonishment, the rain one piece suit, the recon pants, the bigade jacket and the raid boots are quality products. I have not hopped on my Aprilia Caponord to test any of the products but I did get that tingly feeling when I put them on to check the fit. I am in utter disbelief that I can spent $250 and get dressed completely for inclement weather in Seattle. Thank you MotoCentric, Motorcycle Superstore (Nicole). These products are being discontinued, I am certain MotoCentric has something else up its sleve. If you are on the fence about buying any of these products, don't be. Buy with confidence.

Very nice jacket for the money

My only complaint is the sleeves are tight. I'm not a weight lifter , I don't work out, I don't have large biceps but the sleeves are tight. I'm 6'2" and 225 and the body of the jacket fits nice. The sleeves are tight. The jacket is well made. Warm. I haven't used it without the liner yet. Very comfortable. Overall a good purchase. I did order a size up XXL. If you pump iron, the sleeves may be too tight for you.

Great jacket

Fits me well, 5'10", 195, the arms are snug but not so much that it hinders movement. The sleeve length is plenty long. Riding in 45 degree weather was comfortable with the liner and a tee shirt under. Too soon to rate durability, but for the money it can't be beat.
