MotoCentric Assault Jacket

The MotoCentric Assault isn’t a sportbike jacket that falls into the trap of trying to reinvent the wheel when it comes to beating the heat. Instead it uses mesh, lots of mesh, to generate the airflow that tames even blistering temps. All along the chest, back and sleeves, the reinforced mesh does it job while also maintaining solid abrasion resistance. Armor at the shoulders and elbows pairs up with a foam back pad for impact protection and don’t worry if the occasional rain storm finds its way near you. The Assault comes with a removable waterproof liner for those summertime downpours.
  • Rigid poly mesh panels
  • 600d poly main outer fabric with DWR
  • Quick release, removable waterproof liner
  • Contoured CE rated armor at the shoulders and elbows
  • Removable dual density spine pad with pocket
  • Dual waist adjustment straps
  • 2 outside pockets, 1 inside pocket
  • Extended back
  • Zipper pant attachment
  • Reflective elements
  • Item # 70567

A Great Warm/Hot Weather Jacket

I just received my Motocentric Assault Jacket from you folks. It is a really nice mesh jacket with a waterproof inner removable liner. This was my first order with Motorcycle Super Store. Your staff very kindly and knowledgeably walked me through the entire process, as I had never ordered on line before. Your staff is just so wonderful, like I knew them, and they really cared, and wanted me to get the best service. They Sure Succeeded! I will for sure buy again from you all. Thanks for all of the great advice, and for such a great product. Sincerely, A very satisfied customer.

Good jacket for the sale price

Only bought this because I was short on money and this was on sale and ended up liking it anyway. Even though it fits kinda big, it looks good and flows air well. Nice wrist closure with zippers that if left unzipped allows allot of air through the sleeves. The main zipper can be difficult to zip with one hand though. Plenty of pockets with plenty room for whatever you want to carry (3 inside, 2 outside).

Excellent value!

I'm practically a nubie, getting back to riding after a 28 yr break. I needed all the gear, so price was a factor in every purchase. When this jacket arrived, it was exactly what i would have purchased if funds were unlimited. I'm 5'9", 150 lbs and the medium jacket fit perfectly with a little room for a sweater if needed. I highly recommend this jacket.

Excellent value1

Fantastic value. I am 5'7" and 180 and a large fits very well. Bought primarily for the mesh ventilation for warm months as well as for the protection. High Visibility yellow as need to be seen.

Great warm weather jacket!

This is a great warm weather jacket. Outstanding air flow keeps you cool on hot days. I got the high vis yellow color and it looks great! Just enough color to be visible and not so much that you look silly. Size/fit is spot on as well. I am 5'9", 165, athletic build and the medium fits perfectly. Thanks!

Assault Jacket

I bought this jacket in March (in Wisconsin) riding in 30 and 40 degree weather I found I need a insulated shirt under the jacket. The fit was good I'm 5'11" 180 lbs. with long arms, and I ordered a large. With most jackets I ordered in the past I had to go with a x-large. No zipper issues so far. after a month or using it. overall I'm very happy with the jacket. I order the Hi-Vis and I have noticed the difference with other drivers seeing me. March in Wisconsin most forks aren't ready for bikes yet.

Great jacket

I love the jacket. I've never had a riding jacket before so I don't have much to compare to. I used size chart. Fit is decent, a little short. I use it without the liner. I also took out the back pad.

A must have...

Very impressed with this jacket. Comfort, protection, I'd wear this as a 3 season jacket. The liner works great at 40f under 5mph5. Protection feels great. Not to bulky. I'm 5'10" 165. Ordered a lg. Fits perfect. Highly recommended.

You get what you pay for

I bought this jacket because the price was incredible compared to many other brands. However, the reality that quality costs money hit me hard soon after this purchase. First, I will say that the overall design and fit of the jacket work great for me. I live in NC and bought this jacket in the middle of "winter". It works great in 40-80 weather, and when paired with a base layer, it can be worn in cooler weather as well. The wind barrier works pretty well although it rubs my neck at the very top. The protection seems adequate although I have not put that to the test yet! I loved the pockets although the side pockets could be bigger in my opinion. The inside pockets are great for devices although a pocket inside the waterproof layer would be helpful. My major complaint is in the poor construction. Within two weeks the right pocket zipper broke. The liner zipper seam broke in less than a week. I don't know if it was a fluke or what but I was very disappointed. I would not recommend this jacket unless you are strapped for cash. A better investment would more likely pay off in the long run.

Comfortable protection

Bought this at the same time as my yellow & black Scorpion helmet, and the yellow/black color scheme on the jacket look perfectly paired. I've used the jacket both with and without the removable wind & rain barrier liner. I'm pleasantly surprised at how well vented the jacket is without the liner. It's still heavy and provides that "substantial" feel of safety, but it stays relatively cool.

very nice

Bought this for my son in law, and not only does it fit as indicated but he wears it everyday irrespective of biking. Note from my daughter: The exterior is bit rough for a romantic outing!, but it is meant to do that to the road!. so far so good.
