Good set of gloves

The gloves fit well. Not sure how well they will last.

lightweight protection

I wear these gloves on hot days with my mesh jacket. The quality and fit is good, and the gel is enough to keep palm fatigue away. They are lightweight and easily stuff into a jeans pocket when off the bike.

Not the same

I have had a pair of these gloves for more than 10 years. These gloves don't fit the same although they are the same xxl, there is no reflective that I could see. The old ones were shiny at the knuckles and finger joints and covered with clear plastic to stay that way. They don't seem as well made, thinner and less durable.

Olympia Sports 711 Gel Reflector Gloves

First pair I had several years ago been great and wore well. Second pair disintegrated in about three months. My current pair has done well for three years. But Motorcycle Superstore can't seem to get them even though they have them on their website. I was sent a men's large instead of a women's large because they had no women's. I had to pay shipping two ways for their incompetence. Not happy!

Lasted less than a season.

This glove started falling apart almost immediately. Forefinger of left hand worn through in less that 2000 miles. Would not buy again.

Not as good

My first pair went many miles with a few on road repairs - love those hotel sewing kits. I recommended them to friends. This last pair got pretty rough in about a third the time and I need to replace them Perhaps they are using a different Chinese factory. They need to get the quality back if they want to keep their customer base. I can't recommend them as they are now

Gone downhill

I've been wearing the same Olympia Gel gloves for ten years. The newest ones I purchases are FAR worse than previous gloves. The fit is awful. The seams dig into my thumbs. They wear VERY fast, and the velcro doesn't stick well enough.

Worth the money. Good pair of light breathable gloves. Not good for cold mornings.

30 Dollar gloves?

These are the first pair of motorcycle gloves I have bought. Guess I will want to spend more. Small are made for a medium or large with short stubby fingers. Heavy seams at the thumb hand juncture was uncomfortable after 15 minutes of riding. These are going back and I will shop in person. If these were 12 bucks OK but 27.99 on sale? NOT!

Olympia Gel Reflector Gloves

I bought these when I was in travelling on my bike through Denver back in 2005. I used them the whole ride home. Boy, were they perfect! Comfortable, fit well, has nicely breathable mesh, and the gel padding sure limited the exhaustion I usually experience from the vibration. I've been using them every riding season for four years now and they were getting frayed last year so this year I thought it's time to replace them. I'm happy with the fit, the comfort, the price, and the durability. However, the reflector part was not so visible.

Olympia 711 Gel Summer Gloves

These gloves definitely fit their purpose- a cheap, venting pair of wrist-length gel insert gloves for summer riding. The Velcro is weak on the strap, barely hanging on after a few months of daily riding. Also, between the fingers is a breathable mesh material, hardly visible in the online photos. The Velcro attaches to this mesh better than to itself, so you have to modify your method of putting on or taking off the gloves. The reinforced forefinger is frayed after about 12 months. The Velcro lasted 10 months, though it consistently gave out at wind speeds over 45mph. Also, the seams on the gel padding have now ripped open in the palms. BUT the gloves are comfortable for upright riding, with considerably long fingers and good flexibility. There is no protection for the wrist and no considerable padding in case of a crash, but these gloves would last a good slide down the pavement (once). Great dexterity in the finger tips too! I'm going to try some other vented options in Olympia's lineup. One waterproof pair for winter and rain and one vented pair for summer.

Gloves

Was concerned about not trying for fit. But return policy took away my concerns and was there if needed. No problems fit like a glove first try.

These gloves are pretty comfortable and flow air well. I don't know about durability, though, because Velcro just pulls the thread out of the fingers.
