Rolling thunder :)

99 Vstar custom for me was a good riding, handling bike with decent power ranges :) But its missing that big bike sound and has weak spots in the acceleration ranges with wimpy deceleration.. Vance & Hines Cruisers to the rescue :) Sound is awesome !!!; Rumbles in town like the bad boy should. Performance has smoother range and the boy even jumps a bit on pick up now .. Varoooom.. Has that sound if ya know what I mean :D I could not have made a better upgrade.

Vance & Hines slashed staggered on my Boulevard C50

I received my V&H pipes fast and was so glad to have purchased them from Motorcycle Superstore, I installed them as per instructions but found a discrepancy on the rear plate gap between the bike's plate and V&H plate of 5mm so I packed the gap with washers and was ok, please bare in mind when you fit the pipes make sure there is no stresses from the headers to the rear attachment plate, this is what would have resulted if I fitted it straight from the package, also I recommend if you have sensors you must fit them back though my set of V&H did not have the sensors provision, I drilled 9.5mm hole and tapped a 12mm 1.2pitch and fitted the sensor, I did not want to cut wires or mark around with the electronics. I finally went for a long ride and it was awesome, if a motorcycle supposed to sound like this, these are the pipes for you!!! have fun

Vance & Hines fitment on 2007 Suzuki C50 Boulevard Warning!

I just fitted the Vance & Hines Slash staggered to my Boulevard C50 and found that there is discrepancies between the header flanges to the rear fastening plate by as much as 5mm gap after tightening the headers to the engine exhaust ports now this may not sound serious but the fact is that if you were to tighten the rear exhaust plate to the bikes main exhaust mounting, you will certainly put stress on the engine header and pipes full time. To avoid this problem you will need to 1. when fitting tightening the header flanges exhaust make sure they seat flat on engine ports first. 2. then check the rear plate gap between the exhaust plate and bikes mounting plate, if required pack the gap with washers then tighten plate bolts 3. Check Brake pedal lever clearance and move the footrest downward by releasing the bolts and placing a 2mm thick half washer on top of the bolts between the frame and footrest plate bolts to clear the front pipe shield and then you are set to go, well almost 4. Your Heat Oxygen sensor must be put back on the rear cylinder pipe #1 if you don't want to cut or disable pin 23, It is best to leave your ECU alone, Enjoy!!

Nice product- looks good and sounds great. Unfortunately one of my baffles shot out of the back during a ride after only 20 or 30 miles of use. Therefore durability gets a very low score!

Installed a set of these pipes on an '06 Shadow VLX. Fit and finish was perfect along with being much lighter in weight compared to the stock exhaust. They are louder than stock but not enough to cause problems with the neighbors. They sound louder to the rider than they actually are. Just a nice rumble and the bike doesn't sound like a sewing machine anymore. Worth every penny!

V & H Cruzer Exhaust System

Excellent bit of kit. Sounds so much better than the stock exhaust on my 05 V star 650 Silverado. Best mod so far! Nice deep rumble sound and a great blast when you open the throttle. Took about 2 hours to fit, but most of this time was to remove the clamps from the original pipes (things rust quick in the UK). Delivery was really fast. Well impressed with the service from Motorcycle Superstore. Will be using you again. Thanks.

Great Sounding Pipes

I got these as a gift for my Dad's Yamaha VStar 650. I was a little nervous that the 650 engine would sound small even with the pipes but boy was I wrong. These pipes sound amazing even with the smaller motor. My Dad used to give me a hard time for bliping the throttle on my bike, but now he does more than I do! Overall these are great pipes and I would highly recommend them for anyone wanting to get better sound out of their ride.

The pipes look and sound great on my '07 Suzuki Boulevard. I was able to put them on in under an hour. The only thing I was disappointed with is that there were a few little marks on the pipes from the manufacturer.

Great looking, too loud

I was really pleased with the look and sound of this exhaust on my VTX... initially. The pipes were much too hard to live with in the long term, due to their noise. As there are no "quiet" baffles offered by V&H for this model, I opted to return to my stock exhaust. If you're looking for an aftermarket exhaust for a VTX1300, I would not go with this system.

Great pipes but no gaskets?

The pipes look and sound great. Quality is what I would expect from Vance and Hines. Only problem was it didn't come with any gaskets! No matter how many times we tried to install it there was an exhaust leak (no gasket so go figure) so I had to go buy some exhaust sealant. Other than that inconvenience I am very happy with the exhaust system.
