Money Well Spent...!!

Had to make a 550 mile bike ride, from Kansas City, in the mid 20's, with snow still on the ground to DFW. This suit was warm, insulating, comfortable and made for a very pleasant ride. An excellent value & I was very pleased.

IF... IF it's in the trailer when it rains!!! 240 cold wet miles today. After arriving at the destination hotel, I dried a bit, warmed a bit, and donned the Phantom. Then out into the weather to do some errands. It was 42 degrees, 20mph winds and doing 60mph on my Spyder. TOASTY and dry! I love it! Moral- it is a horrible product... IF it is left in the trailer and not worn! BUT... when it's worn, it cures what ails you :)

Incredible suit for the money!

The kangaroo hide is noticebly lighter and softer than cow. I'm convinced the TASC advanced seam construction will hold up over time and a low side (critical factor). After putting it to the test for 120 miles of curvy roads, I can confirm this is a very comfortable and high quality suit. With Xcelerator being the top of the Teknic line, this suit is loaded with key features (Knox armor, Kevlar, external metal protectors, wicking Scotchgard liner, air blade vents, etc.). I'm very pleased!

Nice suit

I've worn it at 85 F a couple of times and it is as comfy as riding without gear (don't do that)! I would like to have had 2-way zippers on the legs and I'm not convinced the elbow protection will protect me in a fall, even with the straps adjusted snug.

Great suit with a great price

This is one of the cheaper suits on this site. When it arrived it felt like something that costs quite a bit more! When you put it on, it looks sort of like a moon suit and you might get laughed at... But it's supremely comfortable on a bike and I feel like I'm riding safer. I bought the L and I'm 5'10 180.
