I bought this jacket in the USA for use in Brazil. It works very well in the tropical climate of Rio de Janeiro. The protection is good for temperatures up to 15ºC (60ºF) and the ventilation system is effective at temperatures above 30ºC (90ºF). Could have waterproof pockets inside to be perfect!
The impact protectors seem resistant and do not bother riding off road.
Seems nicely made but the fit is way off. Since no one seems to make enduro jackets for women I ordered this for myself (women's medium, 8-10) in a men's medium. A small is too short in the arms so I had to go with this larger size. I was bummed to see just how large it fits around the gut. There is no cinch around the waist or even a drawstring around the bottom and it just hangs open with a big gap. I'm not really that small either so I don't understand why it was built so huge in the waist with no adjustment. From what I have read it is not just women complaining about how it fits either.
This is a nice jacket but the XL I ordered is certianly no bigger than a normal size large. I wear an XL in everything: shirts, coats, jackets, you name it. This jacket was very tight to be an XL. Was going to exchange it for a XXL until I found out it was $50.00 more than the XL. That's ridiculous!
I bought this jacket as a Christmas gift for my husband. He's a big fan of Moose and has worn Moose for years. It's of good quality and will last him for a long time. He has always worn a large but with this jacket, he wears a XL. You may want to think about ordering one size up.
I purchased this jacket before I went to ride passes in Colorado on my dual sport. It did really well at shielding me from light rain for short periods, It's completely wind proof, and fits great. Zippers are stiff, there's no insulation, and very little storage. No regrets
