My old rain suit blew a zipper, so I was in the market for a new one. I am very happy with this suit. I've only ridden in the rain once so far, but I didn't get the least bit wet on the ride home. The only thing that I was concerned with was the fit of the jacket. It fit a little bit tighter than my last rain jacket, but I am beginning to like that. Less material to flap around in the breeze.?

Jacket ran big, I'm 5'9, 150 lbs lady. Would have fit a 6' guy easily in both the body and the arm length. I would have kept it had the zipper not been defective - I couldn't even get it started from the bottom when I tried it on. Laid it on the counter, and still had the same problem - the zipper would not engage. I didn't bother to try on the pants since the jacket was defective. There was ample pocket room on both sides of the jacket which would have been a bonus.

I only used it in one rain storm and it worked. That's all I care about. The velcro that folds over the zipper is a bit of a pain to deal with, but I don't plan to be using it every day. I like how lightweight and compact it is which makes it easy to keep with the bike for those unexpected rainstorms when you are on your bike and need to get somewhere. I am happy with the product. My ratings are average for fit, finish, durability and features, but the most important thing for which I give it a 5 star rating is the cost benefit. Perhaps if you needed something for a lot of time of use, you might want to get something more durable with a perfect fit. This product is a bit loose on me, but I like that because it will allow me to use it if I ever have lots of clothes or a snow suit on underneath it.

Appears to be good quality, but fit a little tight. I'm normally a medium but these would only fit well without any other pants underneath. Order one Sierra up if you want to be comfortable.

I was looking for an inexpensive rainsuit / pants for my 75 km commute to work and back and I ran across these. Since I ride a moped (cheaper on fuel than my 1990 Pathfinder) I wasn't after performance / lots of zippers / vents or any needless extras. I was surprised by the sheer weight of the jacket though! It weighs 2/3 rds of the whole thing, the pants do seem to be almost and afterthought. The jacket fits well over my leather one although it does not have velcro on the cuffs as it states in the description, they are elastics. The pants have a strange fit, they pull over boots okay but have a cinch strap at the waist that is either at the back of the pant or the zippers on the legs are open to the front... either way, something is wrong there. Since the pants are huge on my 6'2" 190 lbs frame I just turned the pants around to have the cinch strap at the back along with the higher side of the waist AND the leg zippers opening towards the back. The fit is loose and cut to fit over riding gear including boots. Waterproof and kept me warm at freezing temperature early morning ride more than once this April. The finish looks good but may not wear well with age, the jacket sleeves fit into my gauntlets. The pants have zero reflectivity to them but the jackets have striping around the chest and on the sleeves near the cuff. For the money this is a great buy!

I bought mine over 10 years ago when visiting a show. I have only used about three times because I try to stay out of the rain! But when I need it, it is light and breathable and works well. It folds back up easily and stores easily. I take care of it and it has lasted over 10 years!
