Not cheap but worth every penny. Completely water proof for hours in the rain, cool enough for 120f days, warm enough for 32f days. I wear them about 10 hours a day, so comfortable I don't take them off at the office. I have had them for over a year now and they still look like new. Velcro is getting a bit worn out but after more than 1000 cycles it is expected.
I was impressed with the quality and look of the boots. Unlike others, I did not have an issue with the fit of my foot.
The only downside I encountered with the boot is a pressure point where the second buckle sinches on my right ankle. Riding is not a problem, they are very comfortable. I do develop discomfort when having to walk. I have played with the tightness of the buckles to try and relieve the pressure point with limited success. This is my first pair of riding boots so I am not sure if this is a "common" issue. Other than that, I do like the boot feel while riding.
Bought these for mostly street riding with the possibility of adventure riding. Initially putting them on felt tight but that went away as they broke in. Did have an absolute annoying squeak when you would walk. What I found is on the outside of the boot they ran a piece that would protect the outside of your ankle up into a pocket at the bottom of the upper plastic. These pieces rubbing together drove me absolutely crazy as I became a spectacle walking. After finding the source I cut the 2"tapered pieces off and now no squeak. Other than that these boots are great and I would buy them again. They are water proof when riding in the rain though I have not stood in a puddle to see if they leaked. They are very comfortable to walk in as well.
