I replaced the stock exhaust with Cobra dragsters. Very pleased. Sound is great and overall performanced is increased. My VTX1800 was an animal, now it is a BEAST! Fuel adjustments are a must when exhaust systems are modified.

Very nice pipes, very loud but sound and look good. Install was easy on my Kawasaki 900 Vulcan Classic LT. Also put a Power Commander 5 and had dyno'd but still had some popping, so I marbled the reed valve hose and 99% of the popping went away. Bike runs great. Very happy.

Awesome

Installed these about a month ago. Instructions were adequate although they could have mentioned installing new exhaust gaskets. Also the billet tips go on easier if you don't have the heat shields tightened yet. Other than that...they look amazing and the sound is heavenly. I do still have some decel popping that I am working on. I've read and been told that some amount is almost unavoidable. I do recommend these pipes for Honda Shadow Sabre 1100s.

Thumbs up

Replaced the stock exhaust on my 2009 VTX 1300R with Cobra Dragsters. Louder than stock, but idle & low speed shouldn't annoy the neighbors. It really roars at speed though and appears to provide some performance gain at higher RPM's. I recommend!

Fast and easy to put on, fit perfectly. Sound good and I didn't have to change anything with the fuel system.

Be prepared for loud

I installed these on my 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic about 2 months ago. SOUND: Wow, very loud. Not too bad if you don't get on the accelerator around town, but almost unbearable at 70-80 mph on this particular bike. APPEARANCE, INSTALLATION and OPERATION: They look nice, installed easily - no problem there. I do experience some backfiring and popping at trailing throttle. I'm sure it would work better with an adjustable (and tuned) fuel management system.

Horrible harmonic echo

Would not buy again, noise so bad wife won't ride on it. I finally took the so-called baffles out and turned them around and the sound is about the same but the echo is gone, I think Cobra could surely do a better job than this for a cruiser.

Cobra dragster exhaust on RoadStar

These sound even better than the Cobra's on my old 1100 V-Star. They added a significant power boost, I'm not wasting $ on a Dyno but I actually pulled my front wheel up without really trying on my first ride after install (haven't done it since). Not bad for about 900 lbs. with me and the bike. It sounds very sweet, very loud and very big. Looks great. You won't be sorry if you put a set on your RoadStar. I rated high for durability because of owning Cobra's on my old cruiser. Otherwise it is a stupid question to ask of someone rating a new purchase.

Instalation wasn't bad

I received my order in about 4 days and all parts were there. The installation was not bad at all. The only issue I had was installing the front heat shield. It was a tight fit to install after the pipe was on and I couldn't get to the lower flange nut with the shield on before installation. It took a little extra time to get it together but it was worth the time. The bike sounds a lot better and seams to have a little more power.

Cobra - Dragsters Exhaust System

I purchased this set of exhaust pipes as an upgrade from the stock exhaust system that was on my 2009 Vulcan LT. It only took about an hour and a half to remove my old pipes and install the new ones. There's only three words that describe my new Cobra pipes... Awesome - Awesome - Awesome. I also have a 2006 Boulevard. If they make Cobra's for that model, I plan to install a set on it also. *A reminder to new exhaust buyers... You should also purchase some new exhaust gaskets to use with the installation of your new pipes, and you'll probably need a jet kit also.

Talk about WOW Factor!

These pipes are awesome! I just replaced the stock pipes on my Shadow 750 and I could not be happier. The sound is great, they definitely get people's attention. They were a bit tricky to install due to the tight quarters of the bolts, but all in all, it was totally worth it; even with the grease under my nails and working up quite a sweat. It's a great value for the money!
