Great helmet for the price!

I read a LOT of the reviews before purchasing this helmet for my boyfriend. His regular riding helmet is full faced and he is getting tired of the closed-in feeling. I liked it for the drop down sun visor. Others advised to size up because they run small. I did that and had to return my first one. He is a Medium. The medium fit him fine. He does not seem to be bothered by the noise others have complained of. Perhaps he has a greater loss of hearing?? The sun visor not sitting right over the eyes was another complaint, and again, his sits right where it should. Needless to mention, he is ecstatic with it and it is now his "regular" riding helmet! I wish it came in a women's for the same price! It is too soon to rate the durability, so I gave it an average and we'll see. The return was a snap, as usual for Motorcycle Super Store. Can't beat it for the price!

Wrong Shape Noggin!

Looking for something different - I've worn GMAX or HJC helmets for the longest time. Tried 2 different sizes of the FX-50, and neither fit properly. Trying to fit my oval noggin into a round helmet - it was just too tight on my forehead. Don't think it was any fault of the FX-50, just my head is the wrong shape for that helmet.

not bad but.....

I have put several hundred miles on this helmet and it fits good after it is broken in.It was a bit tight but it is really good now. Here's the bad part. The inner shield is WAY too short. It only covers about half of my eyeglasses. And the outer one is just annoying. I removed it altogether. If it was tinted I may have left it on . I just use the inner as a sun visor to supplement the visor on helmet.

Feels like a heavy crown....

These are my second set (one red and one silver)and one size larger. They look great, have everything, but really feels like wearing a heavy crown. I am sad to have to find another helmet. I hope this will help.

Great helmet but....

I could not decide on a color and took a red halmet and a grey one. Received them in winter and was anxious. After 800km, which is not much, I found both helmets a size too small and a bit noizy.

FX50 helmet

I like the helmet but inner shield didn't come down far enough so I had to buy a smoke pull down shield.

A great helmet for the money

I only sent it back because I won a new Nolan Helmet and had no need for two helmets.. I have always had that style helmet because of the peak and face shield. I have you on my fav list for supplies!

AFX FX-50 helmet

I could not decide wich color,so, I got the red and the grey helmets. They look fabulous and fit a little tight, but they are new and that should be what its supposed to be. I got operated on my right ear and those helmets permited me to ride my bike anyways. I haven't put much time on them but I am anxious for next season to permit me to really test those helmets. I usually make around 19000km per year and supect these helmets to keep me away from season upset temperatures for a while.

What a great helmet !!!

Got this helmet a week ago and already put some road time on it. Fits great, looks awsome, and has all it needs to have. One downside and the only, the sun shade is hard to grab without gloves.

AFX FX-50 Helmet

I love this helmet. The fit is great and the chin strap is so much easier than the D-ring helmets I have used in the past. I was somewhat claustrophobic and lacked prolifical vision in the full face helmet I was using last year.

Bye-bye Arai; hello AFX!

Under $100 for an FX-50 or over $550 for an Arai CTZ? I chose the FX-50, and I am delighted with it. It looks as good and fits as well as any Arai I have ever worn (and I've worn a lot of them), without the ever-more-ridiculous price. Bye-bye Arai; hello AFX!
