FMF PowerBomb Stainless Steel Header

Pioneering the four stroke expansion chamber concept, the FMF PowerBomb uses its refined design to not only add better flow and response to your dirt bike, but to also lower the sound output. Made of tough stainless steel, this header is ready to dish out the tough performance needed for motocross and enduro.
  • “Bomb” is precisely positioned to maximize the expansion and contraction of exhaust sonics
  • Outer chamber allows air to expand, cool and ramp back up at a higher velocity
  • Increases air flow nearly 10%
  • Stainless steel construction

Best Buy so far with the slip on FMF exhaust fits perfect and sound good. I felt the difference as soon as I test drove it. What a difference when you add the competition ECU with the full FMF exhaust system. Well worth the money! You won't be disappointed.

Not very happy

Doesent fit to Leovince X3 mufler for DR-Z400s. i welded another conection to mufler. It also doesent fit to stock exhaust for DR-Z400s. Must cut around 3cm from the end of header. it sounds like crap with stock exhaust. I dont realize any difference in performance....engine is little quiter now.

Great pipe and muffler!

I just got the PowerBomb pipe and Q4 muffler for my 2004 KLR-650. I'm very pleased with them both. They gave me the amazing combination of more power and less noise. The bike has a good sound too, but more of a rumble than a bark. It's also snappier - it never used to power slide - not enough snap to make it break away when you expect - now it does have that snap. The bike's much more fun to ride now. The header and the muffler bolted right up in a half hour or so. Everything fit with only a little encouragement. It's all very well made and the muffler mounting bracket looks very strong. I'd recommend this combination to anyone. I also got the heat shield and it looks good and finishes off the job nicely.

DRZ400S . . . Bombs away!!!

Easy to install and a very noticeable difference with the bottom end power. Not having a heat shield I thought might pose a problem, however I haven't even noticed that it's gone until I get off the bike. Best upgrade so far for the money.

Power Bomb !

2012 Suzuki DRZ 400s. I love it! Fits like a glove after I had the stock muffler pipe shortened 3/4 in. I also gutted the stock muffler, and did a lot of Dremel work to get things nice and big and smooth. The Power Bomb gave the bike a new, deeper, meaner sound. Did the 3x3 mod, K+N air filter, JD Jet Kit. This bike thinks it's a lot bigger than it really is. Power everywhere!

FMF Power bomb header 2009 KLR 650

I ordered this when I got my Leo Vince pipe. I bought it mostly because it just plain looks cool and I was told it fit with my pipe perfectly. Install took all of 30 minutes and was simple. Really happy with the way it looks, think I will look into the heat shield before too long.

My bike is now awake!

The Powerbomb header with a Q4 silencer combined with a new FCR carb on my xr600 made a HUGE difference in how I enjoy the bike! It'll never be the match of my old 250 2-strokes, but it's twice the bike it was before! Thumbs-up!

The Bomb

Installed this on my Honda CRF450X with a muffler. Fit perfectly, was bigger in diameter than stock and had less of a downward bend, increased power after a little richer carb main and pilot jet.

FMF PowerBomb Yamaha WR250X

How do you put a price on KOOL? The unit fit is great with the FMF Q4 slip-on. May have provided a tad more middle range power. Seems like less shifting and less over rev. from my last trip to the Smokies. Does give off more heat when riding slow compares to stock head pipe. May try the heat sheild from FMF.

Fit was perfect!

Bought this to replace a terribly bent head pipe on my 450X. Went on easy, looks great, power is good. Just make sure you wipe off finger prints before letting the pipe get warm or they're burnt on for good!!
